Abba and the coalition of other heavyweights in Kano. Kano situation is far different from PH. It took the Supreme Court's intervention for the NNPP to successfully wrest the governorship from the APC.

He didn't resign. He just pledged his continued loyalty to NNPP and Kwankwaso while retaining his seat in the Abba Yusuf cabinet. I believe that this Kwankwaso and his prodigy governor are playing a script. Kwankwaso's mind is in APC while he retained his kwakwansiya movement and leader of NNPP. He asked his prodigy to defect while he remained where he would ultimately work for APC. The same scenario Wike is playing in Rivers for PBAT. "Just remain in your party while your foot soldiers and prodigies move with me", instructed PBAT.
