Igbos Need To Back Whoever becomes ADC Presidential Candidate To Vote Out Tinubu by gidgiddy(op): 9:05pm On Jan 24*

My fellow Igbos, we all know the meaning of "Onye kwe, Chi ya ekwe". In 2027, it needs to apply. Ten years of APC rule has been a disaster, and they need to go. Its not by chance that Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar are today in ADC. Both men know that they had a combined vote of 13 million in 2023, much more than the 8 million Tinubu had. They know that that if they can muster that same number again on a single ticket, Tinubu is gone

Sometime later this year, ADC is going to pick their Presidential aspirant, and the two frontline runners are Obi and Atiku. One of them will be ADC's Presidential flag bearer. Which of them, I do not know

What Im sure of is that between Obi and Atiku, who ever becomes the ADC candidate, will be backed 100% by the other. Obi and Atiku know that to repeat the 2023 scenario of running in seperate parties will only benefit Tinubu, as it it will split the opposition votes.

The Igbo nation needs to back the whoever the ADC candidate is, be it Atiku or Obi. Its not only us Igbos that are tired of APC and Tinubu, there are many other ethnic nationalities out there that want Tinubu gone.

Only Obi and Atiku can get the combined votes needed to take Tinubu and APC down. And thats why we Igbos need to back either man, whichever of them flies the ADC Presidential flag, to make sure APC does not return in 2027

Of course, all this is subject to how credible elections will be

Expect Agbadorians like the one above to hijack this thread including the ones that will pretend to be Obidients. Op, it is already sealed. The ADC will conduct a free and fair primary and a winner will emerge to be supported by all candidates. Obi already proved his mettle, no presidential aspirant will underrate, disrespect or seek to undermine him either as the main candidate or as a Vice. 2027 will be a rekindling of the old Eastern-Northern alliance based on respect and collective interest, hence the choice of Enugu in Obi's declaration. The likes of Keyamo and Onanuga can already read the writing on the wall, hence the panic. It is time to play the national and unemotional politics with prioritisation of regional interests. Tinubu did the same with Buhari in 2015 against Jonathan and he was repaid with 5.6m Northern votes that made him President.

That’s why all of a sudden all the legal roadblocks put in place in PDP and LP suddenly disappeared! They want to try and lure Peter Obi out of ADC and into either PDP or LP, as they’ve realised they’ve scored an own goal by sabotaging the two parties and inadvertently forcing major opposition figures to coalesce into ADC…forming a unified front! Peter Obi shouldn’t fall for their tricks!

You have said it all.Even if adc brings out a stick we the SE will vote it.SW president is never an option. A vote by SE or igbos anywhere means Kanu blood in your hand.it is the only solution. SW president does not represent southern president
