It took Abraham 25years to have his own one child at old age..

Abraham wasn't even a life to see that promise manifest...

the tribe Isreal is that promise today..
It something that continues till now.
Surprisingly the seed was Jesus Christ.

Why Do Some Prayers Take So Long To Be Answered?

One of the hardest parts of faith is waiting. You pray sincerely. You believe genuinely. You try to live right. Yet the answer doesn’t come — or at least, not when you expect it to.

Days turn into months. Months turn into years. And the question quietly forms in your heart: “God, did You hear me?”
Yes, God hears every prayer. But not every answer comes immediately.

Sometimes, the delay is because God is working on you, not just the situation. Certain blessings require growth, maturity, patience, and preparation.

What you’re asking for might be good, but you may not yet be ready to handle it.
Sometimes, God is aligning people, timing, and circumstances. What looks like delay is actually divine coordination.

One small change in timing could affect everything.
Sometimes, the answer is “no”, and God is protecting you from something you can’t see. Not every unanswered prayer is rejection — some are redirection.

And sometimes, the delay is meant to build deeper faith. Faith that doesn’t depend on fast results.

Faith that trusts even in silence.
Waiting is painful. But waiting is not wasted.
God’s timing is not slow — it’s precise.

If you’re still waiting on an answer this morning, hold on. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting.

The delay may be part of the miracle. 🙏✝️

You guys de muse me!

So you pray that God gives you a car you dont work, you dont do business, where would the car come from?

If you work or do some form of business, you dont need prayer to buy a car.

If you apply to a job, prepare for the interview you dont need prayer to get a job.

Ask your friends in abroad when last they prayed for God to give them a car or house or Nepa light.

There is nothing like prayer.

Is all speaking positive. When you speak or say something positive, Christians call it prayer.

Prayer does nothing without work. The issue of prayer just psychological, just like religion. You prayed to get a contract and you applied for it. It's not the prayer, you got it cos you applied for it, you should have just stayed in your house and pray for it without doing anything towards getting the contract. Christians pray to Jesus for wealth, Jesus don't give wealth, he only wants your soul to be saved. He wouldn't have given dangote a dime. Anyway, God has already laid down the laws of wealth, discover it and follow it, and you will be wealthy. That is why wealth cut across all religions, races and tribes. I wish (which is the other name for prayer) that Nigerians will focus more on smart work than wishing for unmerited wealth through Jesus or Mohammed or whatever.

When prayers were the only answer by Nigeria's Christians to the menace of Nigeria's Islamists against Christians in Nigeria, people were mocking the Christians for doing only prayers while the Islamists were armed to the teeth and committing genocide against Christians.
After a long time of prayers and God heard the Christians, the Islamists say it was a screw driver seller in Onitsha whose actions invited the Americans to bomb the Islamists in Nigeria.

Don't stop praying, but go to work and also pray.

No prayer is ever answered.
when you do what you are supposed to do, there are two things involved, either it works or it doesn't.
Why would this your all knowing God delay your prayers without telling you why and what to do to fast track it?
Most black people don't know anything about the universe, they believe earth is the only planet around here. As a matter of fact, they don't even know there are places like Australia and Antarctica
Interesting view. But what do you think of the universe? Do you think the here and now is all there is or is there some kind of other world, a spiritual realm perhaps?

Because prayer na scam , you’re not praying to anyone and no one is answering anything. People that doesn’t pray gets same job , school, life properties, die like you marry born , just like you do .

You’re the one that decided on your own to lie to yourself that whatever success you achieved is by prayer . If you decides to say is by your own efforts that’ll be the case as well.

Very funny and yet it’s all about statistics. A boy prays to pass his exams and get into the university, he passes his exams and gets into the university. Another boy at that same time prayed for the same thing but either failed a subject or lacked the resources to get into the university during a particular academic year.

When 50,000 students writes an exam, it is statistically nigh impossible for all to get admitted at the same time. It is called PROBABILITY. Has absolutely NOTHING to do with any imaginary sky daddy.

judewrites:
According to the book of Daniel, God answers us when we pray and sends angels with answers.

But there is serious warfare in the heavens between God's angels and the devil's, this often leads to delay.

That's why prayer should be made always with faith, not lukewarm or in unbelief.

Because, truth be told, prayer is like speaking to the air, and hoping a miracle will happen from nowhere. While it has its emotional benefits, it is an objectively useless exercise. The universe has a way of naturally orchestrating events based on timeless principles.

Pardon me if my (irreligious) opinion sounds offensive.

if you want your prayers answered remove "in Jesus name" and also "through Christ, our Lord".....in your prayers. learn to go to God(source) directly like he commanded
"Do not have any other god before me. this means no intermediary or middle man.

do a little cleansing with alligator pepper and sea salt.
you will receive prayers to your answers.
Also you need to learn and know that God can use any means to answer.....The earth is his footstool.
