I had an issue with my oriamo power bank and I was asked to return it for a brand new power bank and upon picking it up at their service center I was told to first use the power bank before charging and it’s been a year plus and I am still enjoying the power bank like it’s new, this only apply to oraimo power bank Ketamine9000mg: |

Ketamine9000mg:Best way is to first charge it to 100 percent before use, then use it completely until 0 percent and leave it to for another 1 hour to drain completely, then charge it fully again and start using it. By doing this, the power bank will calibrate the lithium battery very well. And it is advisable not to use the power bank less than 20%before charging, always charge before it reaches 20%,it will last longer |

Pls read: Beware of this nonsense product called mayor power bank. Apart from me, lots of people have been complaining of the nonsense product. Ranging from Battery swelling within short period to overheating during charging, inability to charge more than 86% until one used to zero among other issues. I bought my(50kmah) around may 2025, the first thing I notice was that it won't charge more than 86% and it was overheating. I complained to the seller and he told me it was the charger that was causing the overheating and that I must zero it first. I changed charger and cable and used to zero. Charging normalized to 100% but won't stop overheating. It was returned to Lagos through the seller when it stopped working finally within less than 2months. Fast forward to October 2025 after they fixed it, timer stopped working again and battery eventually got swollen. Na so I went to give violence to both the seller and maker. Mayor power bank Lagos . How can I buy a power bank of 50kmah at 55k and it won't work for at least 1yrs before it will start misbehaving? The matter is still on sha, I will send picture after they might have return it new or fixed. I plan to continue this warning to fellow Nigeria not to fall victim like me. MAYOR POWER BANK IS FAKE BEWARE! |

Is 20,000mah adequate for charging? What mah will you recommend for phone? Also, am thinking the bank is actually 10,000mah but they just put 20,000mah there. These guys can be mischievous. determination26: |

Love800:I attached the pictures here for you to see, the capacity is actually as stated. My phone battery is 5000mah and I've tested it before and it charged my battery from 0 to 100 percent four times and fast too. I actually bought it to power my MTN FibreX router when there's no power but I'm the curious type, and I like to state facts when giving advice so I tested it with my phone. One of the things I love about the power bank is that, it charges from 0 to 100 percent pretty fast.

Okay. Where did you get it. At an authorized dealer's shop? Or any shop along the road? determination26: |

There's this guy that fixes my devices when there's a problem. He knows the guy who sells only original Oraimo power banks, so I just gave him the money to buy it for me. I know Oraimo has a website, ng.oraimo.com I believe. You could get yours there, or maybe check if there's info about dealers closest to your location. Be very careful because there's fakes everywhere Love800: |

The safest routine is simple: charge to full, avoid heat, and don’t always wait till it’s dead before charging. |
