Caught This Lil. Snake Chilling My Living Room Today — Please Identify The Name by Moresalt(op): 7:13pm On Jan 25
Please, can anyone identify this snake... Poisonous or not?

So, my dogs forcefully went outside the gate today in the afternoon. It's not really the usual time to go out to pee and stuff, so I was a bit angry and wanted them to come back.

They wasted a bit of time running around the bush and I started chasing them a little before they knew I was serious and they wouldn't like me to graduate to using some well orchestrated spanks first...

Finally they got in the living room (not using the cage for now cos they disturb/bark at the neighbors). Then just as I was about to close the door and turn back I found this shocker chilling like a confused fish out of water.

Thankfully it wasn't too comfortable to slither on tiles so it was very easy to target the head first.

It must have hidden itself around one of the dog's body—maybe the more hairy one. Cos I just move in 2 months ago, there could be no other way for such except for small cockroaches and maybe wall geckos I should try to deal with it.

Please help identify it...

How can that big snake hide on the dog's hairs abi furs? It's not possible. It must have entered the house by itself. But waitoo, what is the work of your dog abi dogs, two dogs can't notice when snake sneaked in. If they were Cats they no born the snake papa to even near that house let alone entering the parlor.
Anyway I don't snakes so I don't know the name. Only knew about python and Cobra

I don't think a cat would care...

If the snake doesn't cross it's path directly. I think his dogs are little and didn't notice it.

A dog is in a better position to attack the snake if it notices it more than a cat.

Cats are I don't cares... don't bother me I won't bother you.

Op from the patterns that's one of the adder family - night adder most likely.

Adders are poisonous and dangerous. It's best you fumigate your premises!

The type of cats you've seen behaving like that are pet cats, or cats that wasn't taught to kill suspicious looking critters.

I’m not sure what first or last name is on it’s birth certificate but that’s a snake for sure.

Notwithstanding. They are lethal against snakes and kill them nine times out of ten on account of greater speed and faster reflexes. Again, dont take my word for it, look it up.

Rhombic night adder
It's venomous but not fatal to human, just small swelling and discomfort

By the way, snakes are venomous or not
Poisonous is if we can eat them or not
