USA has invested a lot of money in this world cup that is why they will host 78 matches and if FIFA says USA should host only the group stage match USA can reject hosting the world cup and FIFA will lose a lot of revenue, income, sponsorship and businesses deals from the world cup..the matches and hosting cities and stadium has already been fixed so it's too late to make any changes and adjustment on a world cup starting on June 2026
