Look at a governor who was scared to do his own daughter marriage in Anambra. He took it to abuja. He will learn the hard way.You can not force anyone to open his shop as it is not your money. We know the part he played in Kanu case for him to be in prison. He is a sabo |

MERCHANDISER:What of Enugu, Owerri and Awka? Aba is in a different state. If their governor is cool with sit at home, that's his business. The Anambra state government owns and administers main market Onitsha. So the traders ought to abide by the rules set out by the government. |

Will Soludo provide security for them... See I can decide not to open my shop for a month it's nobody's business. The man is a brainless professor. |

gidgiddy:I did not expect anything less from you. If you allowed common sense prevail, you would have compared the monumental financial losses incurred since 2020 up till date, with one a one week suspension to get the people going. For upwards six years, the financial losses have amounted to trillions and there you are sitting on your tiny arse, asking a concerned governor to fold his hands and watch his people suffer such losses without end, to non state actors. I noticed how long ago you supported the sit at home, orchestrated by people from within and outside Anambra state to destroy the state and its people. You are not in a military rule and yet you fail to see that you are in a criminal rule led by irresponsible fellows called “unknown gunmen”. What an irony. Young man, where’s your thinking cap? You probably long ago left in a beer parlour in Lagos where you reside. “Nobody bullies Igbos…”, yet a certain group of people wield guns and force the citizens of the state to remain in their homes on Mondays. Nobody bullies Igbos, yet a group of irresponsible fellows kill innocent Igbo citizens for not complying with their rules. Nobody bullies Igbos and yet the people comply with the rules of non state actors. Perhaps you have a jaundiced definition of the word bully. My friend, it is cowardice to surrender your life to such confused statements. I wonder how you contradicted yourself. One one hand “Nobody bullies Igbos”, while in reality they are bullied by non state actors every Monday. Well, the governor of Anambra state has had enough of it, just like other decent citizens from Anambra and other SE states, who lose billions on Mondays. You definitely do not know what’s going on with the markets, otherwise you’d not be making such childish and unfortunate remarks. Nobody is asking anybody to bow to a “power drunk” who has lost his sense of reasoning”. The battle line is drawn and we will find out who’s power drunk between a legitimately elected governor with full state powers and a few vagabonds on the streets, who strike fear into the hearts of chickens like you. Perhaps you are not aware that the Governor has also issued a warning to state government workers. Stay back at home on Mondays and lose your salary for the day. Na cry you dey so brother! |

inoki247:It will work. The police and military are positioned at entry and exit points to prevent the traders from gaining access to the market for the rest of the week. Just three days of no market, and the traders will embark on procession to Awka to beg for Soludo's forgiveness. Hungry go reset their oblongata ![]() |

Switruth:Lol and Enugu is a dead hub... You don't know more than the Governor let him try and if it didn't work fine... Same you people will always blame the Government for not doing anything they will try you will still find something to say. Mbah tried and didn't listen to anybody and people brain reset.... |

gidgiddy:How did he send them home when they are already home by themselves observing sit at home? remember to day is Monday. The governor only extended their sit at home for them till next Monday lol. So they could rest well and be unserious. Soludo has the best approach to solutions. Killings and missing people reduced in Anambra since the governor got those ritualists incarcerated 😂 |

MEGAWATCH:Pity yourself.. You should be more worried about how your life has derailed than what a Governor is doing to ensure his state is working. |

kingsways:When an abomination clocks a year it becomes tradition. So because an economic sabotage didn't state today it is now a norm that should be encouraged? You people and your gross lack of verisimilitude is truly amazing. |
