If he can protect them then it is fantastic but if he can't and because of him something happened to the traders, he should be impeached asap.
A very cowardice assertion, if they like let them not round up the few Ipob members amongst them threatening & disturbing them, & hand over the public miscreants to law enforcement for immediate prosecution accordingly, so that they can go ahead with their livelihood.

With these mentality being displayed , any wonder why Asaba is becoming the economic hub of the East region .
You are right, but that's not one of the reason.

Another reason is the over-diversification of the South East. More uncharted new markets needs to be berthed.

After all, my boss from Imo State has chains of betting shops and bars before the SE went on sitathome Mondays.

Issele Asaba, Ụgbọelu, Ibusa, Okwe, Okpanam are filled up with businesses.

Next will be Onicha Ọlona, Issele Uku and Ejeme Aniogo are the next place undergoing recent increases in business activities by Onitsha businessmen.

Y'all will learn by force. Ariesbull come and see your people. Normalcy will be restored to the market whether the enemies of Nigeria's Progress like it or not. Sometimes, I wonder about the smartness of this my countrymen, someone you guys reelected massively, while your "saviour" is in Sokoto?
Come and force me now, you guys that are running to Asaba lol grin grin. You have the biggest market in West Africa but you want to lose it to another region because of inability to sit down and think what's truly best for you.
Enemies of Yorubas you mean?

APC is a TERRORIST organisation and they are the enemies of Nigeria.

Hypocrisy mentality is dangerous .

Is that supposed to be their job or the job of the failed apc lead government.
The last time I checked the government is responsible for the protection of life and properties of the citizens.

You guys don't know what you have, even before I could type finish, Google brought it out. Indeed my people perish for lack of knowledge. Igbos wakeup.
Any one can write nonsense on social medial and repeat it 100 times
That does not make it true

How is Onitsha biggest
Is is by land mass?
Tell us the area
Is it by sales?

Tell us the figure

Tell us who measured it
On which date?
Who witnessed the measurement

Not just by repeating like a parrot

I'm not here for insults. I'm not the person that uploaded it on Wikipedia and they approved it. The wikipedia page is free to access. You can compare with other sources, whether true or false that market is a big asset that should not be closed on Mondays and I think we agree in that regard, don't you?
Re: Onitsha Main Market Closure: Traders Chant Anti-Soludo Slogan (Video) by Rochasstatue(f):
Fools.
If they had displayed this defiance ab initio, those numbskulls that decreed sit at home on Mondays wouldn't have had a field day.
Soludo is no fickle metal.
If you want an Igbo man to remain foólish, close his shop..
All this initial gragra will dissipate this weekend.
Ndi ala.

Who is here for insults?
If you have nothing sensible to say admit it

You are the one that made the claim on Nairaland
I asked for proof and you repeated a claim from Wikipedia
A claim is not proof
Crucially the important question remains unanswered
Biggest how
Is it land mass ?
Or sales?
What is the land mass or daily sales
Who measured it?
On what date ?
Who witnessed and recorded it

Another person can go to another platform and show your post as proof
It has no meaning

We Igbo's are tired of Nigeria, the unfair treatment is too much. How can a government be shutting down people market bcs of a voluntary sit at home, always adding fuel to fire bcs of some of their masters in Abuja. God will help us
Voluntary you say? Soludo wants you to have jara

Nonsense

Ukwani people said they are not Igbo. They don't want to be part of Biafra.

So we allow them be.
If all your people were like this, it would have made sense. Tons of them have refused to let us be. I can't post the vile statements some have made when our people discuss their heritage.

I Don know I want to learn

The solution to not knowing is not fabrication or lying
To the best of my knowledge no one has come out to measure "Penis in Nigeria so going to Wikipedia to post that
Nnamdi Kanu has the biggest one in Nigeria has no meaning
That is similar to the claim with Onitsha market

Who measured it?
When
How
Who witnessed it
Was it land mass
Was it sales

No one has ever conducted and published any such study

It is a fake Onitsha made claim

If you say it is biggest
It begs the question

HOW BIG IS IT.?

Really?

Well, I can't vouch for my people as the problems are multi-dimemsional and they refuse to come together to solve it.

Maybe not in this era, but I see reconciliation, more truths and more progress across the Igbo-speaking nation, but only if we can put our differences asides, tell the upcoming generation the truth and forge a path together for greatness.

You can only open the market gate which I think was never locked from day one

U can lock it for years nobody cares, but don't lock in the name of protesting, that's wot the governor said he will never accept
