The moment you associate with APC, everything begins to go wrong.

Closing the market indefinitely will then become economic what?
Mr Governor, think twice.
Hatred kills.
Allow people to support whom they want to support in peace.
The business is theirs, the loss is theirs, the holiday they chose is their right.
You can't force someone to go to shop when you added nothing to the person's struggles.

Let's face it. IPOB has distanced themselves from the sit at home order, but the people chose to show solidarity to their own leader, fighting and suffering for their emancipation, by staying at home on their own Accord.

Allow them. Just make sure they pay their taxes whether they sell or not.

My take though
The traders union declared the market closed and locked up the main gates. Who then is the owner of the market?

Nigeria is a funny place

Its a place where millions of people are sitting in IDP camps, half a million in Benue state alone, and have lost all all hope of ever sitting in their homes

Nobody is thinking about them, rather people are more worried about the South-East where people can still sit in their homes
Re: Supporters Of Monday Sit-at-home Are Enemies Of Anambra, Igbo Economy — APGA by Arostar2023: 11:07pm On Jan 27
You are the one that's not learned, sorry to say this. Listen, no Igbo business man wants to close his shop/business on Monday after taking the weekends off. Nobody wants that. The issue of sit-at-home has a security dimension which you and the governor failed to mention or address. The governor moves around with a battalion of security agents while the trader is left to fend for himself. And you want him to sacrifice his life to make you feel happy, abi?

Jerry2rule:
At times I wondered how would you be supporting IPOB when they are killing your people. Now Govr. Soludo is now turned to your number one enemy, when his fighting for the state economic to gain strength. I was disappointed when some people here called him "fool professor". Who is now fool? You want to distroy his government hmmm. You dont know anything, you will soon learn in hard way.

Soludo couldn't provide security for anambra people on Monday ,but he sent armoured Tanks to Chase traders away from their market .

Useless idiots are angry thay IGBO's wants peace .

He's now second IPOB and he's starting with 1 WEEK SIT AT HOME
We must sit at home for a week to experience psychological deliverance from MNK Mind Hypnotic Virus.

Am I you,or are you me
Monday is too small for you to rest.

Mondays are too small to honor Kanu. Markets should be shut for at least 4 months in honour of Kanu.

Provided markets in Asaba are open, no problem.

Fact is u can't stop what people are doing with their whole heart no body is forcing them not to open.. APGA think Anambra is the only state it's affected abi? Allow people do what they want.. Free Nnamdi Kanu

1. Kanu will kpai in jail.
2. Kanu can't spare his own Abia state and be using Anambra to fight his Ipob fight. Let him go and enforce sit at home in Abia first.
3. Since the traders don't want to open, let the markets remain shut.

Re: Supporters Of Monday Sit-at-home Are Enemies Of Anambra, Igbo Economy — APGA by Arostar2023: 1:08am On Jan 28
I don't support anyone killing Igbos or crippling the economy of Igboland. If the governor or government provides adequate security for Anambra State, people will go about their businesses without you asking them to. In some other parts of Igboland where security is somehow guaranteed, the people move about and go to the markets on Mondays. It's not about love or hate for IPOB, it's about security. Don't stay in "Ibadan" and be talking about what you know nothing about.

He's setting himself up against the whole Igbo nation by doing the biddings of his masters in Abuja.

Sit at home at Monday is far bigger than soludo.
Don't believe the hype

Please where is Peter Obi in all this?

Why is Peter Obi mastering hypocrisy glaringly like this. He would have reacted if it was an issue in other place thats not even close to this

He has been claiming he has solutions to Nigeria problem, but ordinary his home region have been on Monday sit at home for over 2 years. They have solutions for others but they couldn't apply that same solutions to the same issue personally affecting them

Like I have been saying, anyone still believing/supporting Peter Obi is either political or tribal blinded
Peter obi is not concerned about the stuff happening in his backyard. grin

If it were to be Sanwo eko that shut market for whatever reasons, the lamba would have rushed to the social media as usual to tell us how a new lamba is possible grin grin grin

Tinubu till 2031.

You don't fight "sit at home" with an even longer "sit at home".You can't fight illegality with illegality. What the governor has done is restraint of trade which is an offence under the law.Elected officials are expected to be law abiding, unfortunately, in Nigeria, that is not always the case. The governor has no right or power under the law to close private businesses because they did not open on a certain day and time. This is clearly an abuse of the powers of his office. Apga has ruled Anambra for too long and there is need for another party to govern the state.Political monopoly is bad.

You cannot take away from the established fact that government using means it considers necessary has a duty to stop restraint of trade that Monday sit at home amounts to. There is no political party that will subscribe to your point of view!

I'm not supporting any Nigeria politicians Cos they hardly have the masses in mind. Some issues are hard to put mouth ooo. If obi keep quiet na him know. I remembered when Leah shiab was brutally murdered in the north, some notable politicians from the north criticized the act on X formally twitter BUT LATER DELETED IT.
Oh yes,
We need selfless leaders but unfortunately we've got none.
