McBishop2020:The traders union declared the market closed and locked up the main gates. Who then is the owner of the market? |

Nigeria is a funny place Its a place where millions of people are sitting in IDP camps, half a million in Benue state alone, and have lost all all hope of ever sitting in their homes Nobody is thinking about them, rather people are more worried about the South-East where people can still sit in their homes |

You are the one that's not learned, sorry to say this. Listen, no Igbo business man wants to close his shop/business on Monday after taking the weekends off. Nobody wants that. The issue of sit-at-home has a security dimension which you and the governor failed to mention or address. The governor moves around with a battalion of security agents while the trader is left to fend for himself. And you want him to sacrifice his life to make you feel happy, abi? Jerry2rule: |

chiagozien:Monday is too small for you to rest. Take like 3 months off. Those who want to buy can come to Asaba. E no far. |
| Re: Supporters Of Monday Sit-at-home Are Enemies Of Anambra, Igbo Economy — APGA by Wickedtruths: 11:37pm On Jan 27 |
gidgiddy:Mondays are too small to honor Kanu. Markets should be shut for at least 4 months in honour of Kanu. Provided markets in Asaba are open, no problem. |

Fact is u can't stop what people are doing with their whole heart no body is forcing them not to open.. APGA think Anambra is the only state it's affected abi? Allow people do what they want.. Free Nnamdi Kanu |

| Re: Supporters Of Monday Sit-at-home Are Enemies Of Anambra, Igbo Economy — APGA by Wickedtruths: 11:59pm On Jan 27 |
Fabsonkene:1. Kanu will kpai in jail. 2. Kanu can't spare his own Abia state and be using Anambra to fight his Ipob fight. Let him go and enforce sit at home in Abia first. 3. Since the traders don't want to open, let the markets remain shut. |

I don't support anyone killing Igbos or crippling the economy of Igboland. If the governor or government provides adequate security for Anambra State, people will go about their businesses without you asking them to. In some other parts of Igboland where security is somehow guaranteed, the people move about and go to the markets on Mondays. It's not about love or hate for IPOB, it's about security. Don't stay in "Ibadan" and be talking about what you know nothing about. Jerry2rule: |

You don't fight "sit at home" with an even longer "sit at home".You can't fight illegality with illegality. What the governor has done is restraint of trade which is an offence under the law.Elected officials are expected to be law abiding, unfortunately, in Nigeria, that is not always the case. The governor has no right or power under the law to close private businesses because they did not open on a certain day and time. This is clearly an abuse of the powers of his office. Apga has ruled Anambra for too long and there is need for another party to govern the state.Political monopoly is bad. |

higgs:You cannot take away from the established fact that government using means it considers necessary has a duty to stop restraint of trade that Monday sit at home amounts to. There is no political party that will subscribe to your point of view! |
