Just returned from Nigeria to avoid going in 2026 and 2027. One thing is certain. Nigeria, like the proverbial “subsidy” is GONE and can NEVER return.

For some of us who love knowledge, voting is not just about exercising our franchise. It's not necessarily about the winner or loser either.

It's chiefly about learning and experiencing how our electoral system works and participating in it to have firsthand knowledge.

After voting, you have something meaningful to contribute to its intellectual discussions and policy-writing, especially how to make it better. You cannot give what you don't have. So, voting is a must for me.

To vote, you have to register to vote and that registration is tied to a pooling unit that should not be more than 10 poles from your house.

That day is a free work day. So what excuse do you have from not voting if not complesancy to your right as a citizen.
