Voices from the North Call for a New Chapter Ahead of 2027

Across parts of Northern Nigeria, conversations about the future are growing louder—and more heartfelt. Community leaders, youth groups, and everyday citizens are increasingly sharing a common sentiment: a desire for a different kind of leadership come 2027.

In calm but firm tones, many Northerners say they would prefer not to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for another term. For them, the discussion is less about politics as usual and more about hope—hope for economic relief, security, unity, and a leadership style they feel speaks more closely to their daily realities.

“These conversations are not born out of anger,” one community voice explained, “but from a longing for change and a better life for our children.”

From town halls to tea-time discussions, the message carries a soft consistency: the North wants to feel heard, included, and reassured that the future can be brighter. While 2027 is still some distance away, these early expressions reflect a vibrant democratic spirit—one where citizens openly share their expectations and dreams for the nation.

As Nigeria continues its journey, these voices from the North serve as a reminder that democracy is not just about elections, but about ongoing dialogue, reflection, and the collective hope for a better tomorrow.

But hold on a minute! Nobody supported THIEFNIBU Baban Baban BARAWOO before. Even his own State of origin rejected him in 2023 election, talkless of the North. He only used the likes of hell-rufai, ganDOLLAR and co, to rig himself up. If you know, your Mama born you well carry go.

This is a thread for election losers to have a consolation. When they are defeated in 2027 they will start crying rigging.

Crying is a fundamental right of election loser, wetin them gain if them no cry

Whenever you see a propaganda sore losers thread seemingly talking about "northerners", be sure to know they are obedient impostors.
They create many such threads to console themselves having seen the handwriting that the election is already a done deal for Tinubu.

It is every Nigerian’s collective decision.

For many Nigerians today, another four-year tenure under Tinubu is not only scary but almost unimaginable.

When their worst president (Late General Muhammad Buhari )was in power, why don’t they(North) support other part of Nigeria to unseat him. The painful and annoying part of this rubbish is that, the southern part will be in support of them, spewing rubbish from their mouth, instead of them to stand in defense of their Southern counterpart.
For me o! Nwa afor Igbo,I will support president Tinubu to complete his 8 years in power.
For those that wants to attack my mention, that one kwanzain una o!

Shameless op, using 1 moniker to post then using the other to validate and promote his rubbish.

Like someone said, wailing and gnashing of teeth is a constitutional right of sore elections losers and secceccionists turned patriots. They can wail till they kpai, it won't stop PBAT from finishing his 8yrs tenure just as PMB finished his own against all their wailings.

They'll never no Joy or happiness since they've chosen never to use their brains for positive discussions and progressive ideologies.

What a pathetic way of life the op lives. Tueh‼️🤮

Cry well well. But I advise you save your energy until 12PM on election day so that you can cry together with Obasanjo, Atiku, Obi, El-Rufai, Aregbesola, Amaechi, Jonathan, David Mark and other bitter losers who plunged Nigeria into this current mess, but are now today’s saviours

Interesting.
in 2015 election Nigerians decide to show Jonathan the way out not a particular section. Only the northern votes (Northeast and Northwest ) won't dislodge Tinubu the way it could not make Buhari win in 3 elections.
May we Nigerians choose the best this time around
