Kwankwaso's rhetoric makes him suspicious. He has been crying more than the wolf since his political godson Abba decamped to the APC, jumping between press interviews lamenting betrayal.

The whole thing reeks of theater, and I suspect there's an understanding between Kwankwaso and the APC behind the scenes.

The most painful part of it is they are even father and son in-laws
