![]() Those who took the dude to Lagos slums are supposed to be stripped nakedd and flogged. The painful part was the video of where those wereys were running after his entourage and begging him for money . Chaiiii . |

You people should stop being petty. Those who brought ishowspeed to Nigeria had their choice of destination. His visit wasn't in collaboration with Lagos ministry of tourism. That should rather be a challenge to the Lagos state governor to pay attention to what people have been saying. A thread about some hooligans arrested in Lagos state, come and see as how Lagosians are praising the governor hoping for more as those miscreants are menace |

Tinupoo's ronu gang just embarrassed the Yoruba race to the full glare of the world They think everything revolves around Lagos... Nigeria 🇳🇬 is big and beautiful and that beauty of Nigeria lies outside Lagos state. This is fact! |

Citizens of other countries were busy showcasing their beautiful cultures and talents, and one lunatic is busy saying his visit was not in collaboration with the ministry of tourism to show him beautiful things..was his visit to other countries in collaboration with the countries tourism ministry before he saw beautiful things? They even attempted to make him accept he is of yoruba origin due to tribalism, but dude say na lie. Tribalism made him not see the beautiful parts of Nigeria. |

The tour presented a very true picture of Lagos. Fashola was the last governor Lagos had. Sanwo is more interested in optics than he is in governance. I wouldn't touch Lagos with a 10 foot pole. A glorified slum. It's insane that Makoko and Banana Island coexist in the same Lagos. Unbelievable! Lest I forget, thuggery and agberoism is the order of the day. An agbero has more rights than an upstanding citizen. That's how insane it has become. Let Lagos leaders continue hyping detty December instead of making the state a reasonable one. More disgraces to come! |

The most anti-Nigerian people on planet earth are Nigerians. Ishowspeed organized a "marriage" ceremony between "angry men of Nigeria" and "angry women of Nigeria" and the event was widely enjoyed by his global audience even the strongest man in Africa clip from Nigeria went viral but it is the beggars Nigerians are focused on because we do not like ourselves. |

When people complained of the begi begi lifestyle in some parts of Nigeria before now they were called names. Wait for the day Messi or Ronaldo will visit, same thing will repeat itself. Maybe we truly needed to showcase our begi begi skills to the world |

The IShowSpeed Lagos tour showed the true picture of Lagos. It exposed to the entire world the Lagos that Tinubu left behind and continues to leave behind after holding the state in a tight grip for over two decades, preventing it from breathing, blossoming, and flourishing |

What Ishowspeed showed is closer to the median Nigerian reality, not the curated “Africa Rising” Instagram reel. Congested streets, chaos, hustling, noise, improvisation that’s not an insult, that’s daily life for at least 6 out of 10 Nigerians, Anybody arguing otherwise is either insulated by privilege or being dishonest. The problem is this: Nigeria is always over-represented by its extremes. When it’s good, we project Lekki, Banana Island, private jets, and Afro-luxury When it’s bad, we act shocked when outsiders see disorder, poverty, survival mode Meanwhile, the average Nigerian lives somewhere in between: No steady power Informal economy Public infrastructure barely functioning Hustle mentality because there’s no safety net That’s not “poverty porn.” That’s statistics and lived experience. If you really want “balance,” take him to Kawo, Sabon Gari, Kano ancient city, let him see: Almajiri system Street learning Religious discipline mixed with neglect Cultural depth and systemic failure side by side That too is Nigeria. Not prettier. Not uglier. Just true. What annoys people is not that Speed “misrepresented” Nigeria, it’s that he bypassed our filters. No PR team. No tourism board. No “please don’t record here.” Just raw access. Let’s stop talking from the two sides of our cheeks. You can’t sell a fantasy abroad and then get angry when reality leaks out. A nation grows when it can own its contradictions without flinching. |

Thewrath:I saw that. Nigeria is a mess shaa. Why impose tribe to someone who visited Nigeria where we have three major tribes and a lot of other tribes? They wanted to yoruba the guy. It failed. Such a useless country. |

IbileIfe:Sites and sounds is one thing. People with content and activities is another. Ishowspeed didn't come for sight and sounds, he came for people and content. Apart from that strong guy clip, I no see any other thing lagosians had to offer. Athletic wise, engaging ishowspeed, energy wise engaging ishowspeed. All I saw are just other streamers trying to farm each other. |

Sonnobax15:There is no need to put make up on it Surprise visits show reality Nigerians beg too much That is 2026 reality Right from the airport Customs immigration etc beggy beggy Nigeria You don't make progress with denial or packaging The second point which was not shown in his video is how dirty Lagos is Lagos is dirty , Abuja is dirty , Port Harcourt is dirty What we should do is take the feedback and go to work There is a cultural aspect to cleanliness They have that culture in Benin Republic we should learn from them Just imagine the number of jobs that can be created if we employ people on a permanent basis for daily environmental sanitation |
