Like world war 1. The original beef was between Austria-Hungary and Serbia. No one thought that Russia, France ,Germany, great Britain and turkiye would get involved or that it would extend to large parts of the world

My worry is that an attempt on regime change in Iran might be considered a threat by Russia to it's own interests. And it is the possibility of nuclear war between Russia and USA that is problematic. Also , Iran may have nuclear weapons and the means to use them.
