I prefer human meat than this . More sweeter and the taste is so juicy.

That iron ring is either a kind of transponder or a data recording device of some sort. The researchers have a general idea of the last location of that fish.

Its not a transponder. Why would a scientist cinch the tail in such a way as to restrict growth? Its completely encircling the tail. There are blood vessels there. Scientists are not fools, you know.

I dont know what it is but no scientist did this.

the fish likely got stuck in the plastic debris and grew around it

Only God knows the kind of pain the fish suffers everyday as a result of that plastic tightening around the tail region.
The bruise is an evidence,it's now being put out of it's misery.
