A thread about a streamer’s complain about the rigors of academic exercise has been quickly turned to Yorubas are into fraud, thuggery, prostitution, begging etc. The moderators and forum moralist as usual will look away until another person comes up with a nastier pushback. Thereafter, they will come out and start crying.

Ishowspeed is one of the most popular streamer in the world. He’s not more educated than Peller and he has never shown any interest in going back to school. So, is America loosing their edge in education? Are they now giving tacit support to prostitution, drugs, fraud etc?

We reward mediocrity with fame in this country

He is a smart young man and doesn’t need a degree. All he needs is an intensive and systematic Adult English language learning program. If he dedicates 15 hours a week to it for six months to one year, he’d be able to effectively communicate in English. That’s all he needs.

Education is good, and it requires dedication and commitment to it.

Lecturers should also be kind to students, schooling is not the easiest thing.

Dangote is not a graduate but he is the richest man in nigeria he can comfortably employ and pay all the professors in nigeria put together that explains a lot about education.

In America and other developed countries, an highschooler is ending his or her day as a part-time worker in Dunking or MacDonald thereby earning paycheck every week. This kind of opportunities have been suffocated in Nigeria by greedy politicians and their cronies selling job-slots or sleeping with vulnerable job seekers in exchange for jobs.

All these contributes to bad state of education in Nigeria.

It may seem insignificant now but gradually the Southwest is beginning to lose its edge that Awolowo bestowed on the region with regards to education. The heroes their youth worship on social media are the ones without an education. In its place, there's beginning to be a proliferation and tacit support for Internet fraud, prostitution, thuggery, forceful begging and other vices.
