Adeboye commissions Uche Secondus’ mansion in Port Harcourt

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has officiated the dedication and opening of a new mansion owned by former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The high-profile ceremony, which has since drawn attention online, saw Pastor Adeboye lead prayers and formally open the expansive residence in the morning presence of invited guests.

Secondus was born on March 22/ 1955 in his native Ama Nene village in Ikuru town, Andoni LGA in Rivers State. He made his political debut during the Second Republic in 1978. He later served as Rivers State Youth Leader of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) and the Rivers State Publicity Secretary of the National Republican Convention (NRC) between 1993 – 1998.

He was first elected Rivers State PDP Chairman in 2002 until the expiration of his second tenure in 2008 where he earned the sobriquet "Total Chairman". In 2007, Secondus was the South-South PDP Coordinator for the National Campaign Council that ushered in the Yar'Adua/Jonathan administration and was later rewarded with his election as PDP National Organising Secretary in 2008, a position he held until 2012.

First appointed as the Pioneer Chairman, Governing Board of the National Identity Management Commission (nimc) in 2012, Secondus was elected Deputy National Chairman of the PDP at the 1st September 2013 National Convention of the PDP.
He was Acting PDP National Chairman after the resignation of Adamu Mu'azu following the electoral loss of the Party in 2015 and was elected substantive National Chairman in December 2017.

Secondus attended the London Chambers of Commerce Institute and obtained a certificate in Commerce. He attends the RCCG, married with children and grandchildren.

The other sad reality is that with the poor salary package predominant in Nigeria and incessant inflation Lots of workers wont be able to own a good house even if they work 40yrs
To buy quarter land alone now is over 9m on top 70k minimum wage

That's not a Nigeria problem, it is a universal one. An average worker in the US can't build a house without mortgage. Many salary work are for maintenance and not for wealth creation, you need to play outside the box as a salary worker to acquire some things in life

I was waiting to read where you talk about his chains of businesses and his source of income. So far, it seems all he does is politics.
