Since Kwankwaso’s statement is an admission of attempting to influence Supreme Court justices, then the appropriate agencies to initiate investigation would be:
1. ICPC: Most directly relevant, to investigate and prosecute corrupt practices, because no financial inducement was alleged.
2. The NJC should handle the disciplinary process of the Justices involved.
3. The Attorney General of the Federation can also order investigation and prosecution of the matter.
If found guilty, Kwankwaso could be jailed and/ or banned from participating in active politics.
