Omo Starlink is 600k o with subscription fee more than double that of Airtel and without ups.

Airtel is basically free. You can easily get another one with the next month sub if you wish.

I think the Starlink mini is 400k with a subscription.

Non ODU subscription is working well and i still have people closer using the HBB 30k sub ,the speed is normal .it feels like its only me against the world.

Switching to physical sim is not the issue,I got my ODU first of December last year, switched to physical sim a couple of days later and it’s been blazing ever since except for a glitch I experienced this month of which I was compensated with extra seven days, and I sub directly from myairtel app without issues, I remember someone here complained about an issue similar to yours and he was using an E-SIM , so you see,

If you have another airtel sim or you know someone that uses airtel, check to see if it’s a general issue in your area or it’s only peculiar to your ODU

When I was using TIZETI after some while of not subscribing ,they came to take there device,I guess most of them do that in Nigeria here

I guess switching from esim to physical Sim was the start of my issue.Firstly my old subscription was active when I did the switch so when the sub end and I was trying to do another ,after loading airtime on the Sim card it took little less than 48hrs before they were able to activate it . I was spamming them with calls ,they first took the credit off the line without it browsing it took another 4 hrs before I got a msg the subscription its active . But the first 4 days was ,good speed blazing 50Mbps stable until few min before Arsenal vs Man u .

I’m very happy that you acknowledge that the cause of the slow network speed is switching from eSIM to a physical SIM. I will never advise anyone to change from eSIM to a physical SIM

Most of the specs don't matter because data is just 50mbs. For G5F, the difference between its network/signal reception and that of X17M I tested it against, is quite significant.

Actually notnsure if thats the reason but im convinced uts the start of the problem

it has just normal filters blacklist and whitelist , when. It comes to backup, I don't think anyone Airtel router come close to this . With more then 10 active device, when I say active, they are all downloading or streaming are the same time , I still get more than 5.30 hours ..

Anybody else experiencing this on their ODU recently? When it comes on it won't browse it will show sign in to network or limited network and i will have to reboot 2-3 times before it starts working normal. It's becoming a norm for like 3 days now

There is no specific website. It does that for almost all websites even Nairaland. It later goes after retrying several times.

I have laid a complaint to them but no resolution. I actually got this ODU router due to speed and stability. It seems to be worse off the 5G router I initially had!

Call their customer, ask to speak with a supervisor, those ones that first pick the call don’t know anything

Your problem has to do with Airtel aggressive throttling they do this to some people sometimes you have to get another ODU sim different from the one that comes with the device to break free from that speed throttling cus Airtel won't fix no matter how much you complain they will only do so at their own discretion

this isn’t a general issue but rather a specific one , cos I have never experienced this, so I think you did good by calling them, I’ll add also go to their office to lay a complaint.
