I pray she is out in good health. People dey kidnap themself those days. I read somewhere where a girl and her boyfriend planned thier own kidnap. Things like this they know people wil help with donation. I know of someone who dead from prostate, but his friends keep using his opay account and hospital picture to seek for funds.

Can someone educate me of what importance is the Youth service corp in this present day Nigeria.
Our children are being kidnapped, raped, killed in the name of youth service that even after the service, our government can not provide them jobs.
Take a look at this woman , after spending all her life savings to get her daughter educated...,look at what she is passing through now.
My adivise to the government is to please abolish the Youth service corp. It is meaningless in this present day Nigeria .Or, it should be suspended until there is peace in our land.

Nysc say make una dey keep ransom money one side for those that wants to serve the country that can't protect her citizens. So I don't understand why this.. Must you serve? Them post you go hell fire,you no fit reject am?

I think Nigerians need to face the reality of the present insecurity in the country. Some of us think that maybe all the kidnapping cases we are reading on social media handles are not happening. We underrate tge insecurity in the country and thing all is fake.

I can't imagine a parent allowing her only daughter to travel by land through the dangerous road to Taraba state in the name of NYSC. Why not working her NYSC to the Southwest? Looking at the dangerous situation of the North, and this is your only child, the risk was too much. At tge worse case scenario, she would fly to Taraba.

God will rescue her and bring her back safely.

We are too religious in this country and that's why nothing works any longer because we leave everything to "God" to fight.

I nor know wetin God do for my brother in-law wey travel from Lagos to Kaduna on Thursday Last week and returned on Monday. When My Sister told me of his travel, na so so prayers na im I was just saying in my heart. The level of insecurity now is so alarming. May God rescue her.

Unless anyone is entirely stupid, I personally do not see how any of the masses would have any love left for the current system of governance and those running it.

My last born was posted to gombe. I swore I'd rather kick jerrycan than let her go there. But the mumu girl insisted she needed the experience ( experience terrorists will cut short and connect where you won't believe?)

As the gods would have it, one if my elder sisters pulled some stunts and she did it here in Lagos.

At least, Lagos dey safer for some kind matters. It's best to do away with the NYSC program until they're sure they can protect these children. But they won't. It'll affect their boys in that ministry eating the allocation....

I think FG needs to review the compulsory youth service or consider making it an option for corpers to serve within their region of residence. Too many of them have either been kidnapped or lost their lives in transit in recent times. It's too heavy a loss and heartbreaking for families to hear.

Almost got kidnapped in Kogi state that year. I mean luxurious bus full of corp members. If not for the intervention of God and the D.G of NYSC that sent a military convoy to be far behind us after I suspected trickish delay tactics by the drivers and sent a message across to the D.G and gave him our exact location.

The sad reality is that if she is rescued, she and her family will still vote for their "brother". Good governance is never a factor.

She took a very big gamble and got kidnapped in the very notorious black kidnapping spot in Kogi State where the former Department of State Security (DSS) boss, Mr. Mike Ejiofor was ALSO kidnapped a few years back by a gang of Fula kidnappers. Fortunately he didn't lose his life.

The Inspector General of Police's office has to step in right now and deploy IRT units with drones and phone tracking to rescue that girl. NO random MUST be paid. The idea of her mother soliciting for N30 million to pay some highly IRRESPONSIBLE kidnappers MUST NEVER be entertained.

The IG's special IRT units have in the past successfully busted several criminal kidnapping and armed robbery gangs.

As an example, the very notorious kidnapper and armed robber who operated in Lagos State and other contiguous States named Chuckwudimeme Onwuamadike (aka Evans) who hails from Nnewi North in Anambra State was arrested with 6 other members of his criminal gang in the house he lived in the elite Magodo GRA, Lagos State in 2017 by this same IRT unit.

This is unfortunate....
But, I am very sure that when Tinubu rigged himself I to power, she was among those humiliating, is as much as I am against the kidnapping if her daughter, Tinubu should come to her rescue ,either do the right thing and end insecurity or vice her the 30m. But, all Tinubu and coins know how to do best is to make plenty noise on media, and ldo lies and propaganda,
