adibo:i am very sorry if u misunderstood my reply. the price of my 24v 4.5kwh battery is 720k, price can go far far lower, if i use a cheaper bms and accessories .it is made with Brand new EVE 178ah cells(everyone knows EVE cells can be very pricey) we are also using a JK 200A smart bms with jk display too.. i currently don't have any 5kwh , but i have 48v 6.4kwh ,9.1kwh and 16.8kwh, 20kwh.

bassdow: dollarnaira: Penuelseun:Thanks guys. I will post my BMS settings, which l got from a You-tube Video of Installer, below. Bit-by-bit, l am getting the hang of it. My instincts are leaning towards "Low Inverter Capacity". or some limiting Factor by the BMS settings, on the Maximum Watts l can draw from the battery, through the inverter, at a time My Inverter is 5KVA, When l put on the Fridge, along with basic things that are always on (Phone Chargers, 3 Routers, about six LED bulbs, four Cameras, Two fans), it does not shut-off. But despite turning off the Fridge and Fans (Other things remain On), Once l put on the Electric Cooker or Boiling Kettle or Microwave, it just Shutdown almost immediately and Battery Capacity goes to Zero (from the display on the Inverter!) But strangely, if l then remove any of the high Power appliance above that caused the shutdown, and reboot the Inverter, the Battery Capacity displayed goes to about 50% - 75% and it could Power Fan and all those small-small items above, for the whole Night. - So, reckon the Inverter display of Zero battery Capacity left, is false, otherwise it wont power small items through the whole night. - If Battery can work all night on those small items, it means it has capacity more than 3KW that the Cooker should draw (but shuts it down). This is why l am suspecting BMS is the one shutting things down Or maybe l just need a bigger Capacity Inverter? I would have thought about a 10KVA Inverter but that would require l sell my current 5KVA which is working perfectly, aside this unexplained shut down when l load a Cooker or AC or some other heavy load. I want to ask, my current Inverter does not indicate l can Parallel it with another %KVA of same type. Is there any workaround to this, whereby l buy the same 5KVA type and l am able to make them work together as a 10KVA Has anyone been able to "join" two HYBRID Inverters (not the standard ones that has Parallel capability originally), to produce bigger output, maybe by WIRING Configuration (say, for example, join the 5kva output of one, with the 5kva of the other, into one single Output of 10kva, to Power Appliances and charge the Battery Bank? I know some people are already wondering whether l get sense at all, nor vex, l am just exploring Options. Apologies for my long story.

adibo:Let me clarify that there are indeed 5Kwh Lithium Batteries that’s either a 24v or 48v battery. There’s no 5kwh 12v lithium battery. You may wish to note that: 100ah 48v - 51.2v = 5kwh 200ah 24v-25.6v = 5kwh |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by adrusa: 1:13pm On Jan 28 |
oluchibabe:Drop your single Voltage low protection to 2.8V and see what happens. That figure can actually go as low as 2.6. Can you also show you cell voltages readings with the fridge on? |

oluchibabe:Is there communication between the battery and inverter? If there is, remove it and try again, a picture of the inverter will also suffice |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 2:52pm On Jan 28 |
oluchibabe:this is very easy if it's what I am thinking. if the battery juice leaked onto the battery terminals / contacts, and probably ate up those shiny metals, na to just change or fix them which is super simple. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 5:54am On Jan 29 |
AmazingG007:No max Budget No location You didn't even indicate the size of your appliances e.g freezer abi small table Top is same as big freezer; common TV sef, you didn't indicate it's size or if na plasma or the Ancient box type either way, hope your budget is at least 1.5 million naira Also, though we don't have clear clue of your load yet, you would be needing anywhere from 5kva except you want to be switching off some heavy loads e.g Freezer before running another heavy load e.g Pumping machine. at end of the day, na your budget go follow tell whether you go buy all things Brand new or mix of New + Used or completely USEd. You guys rarely go through past posts and me don tire to dey talk same things almost everytime |

justasitis:Lagos bassdow:Terminals are clean but it is the Board behind that looks scary dollarnaira:I opened it up and saw that the battery Juice had reached the Board and left some blue residue on it. It is likely alkaline in nature and may have corroded some things. Attached are HEAVILY-blown-up pictures. Can it still be repaired and if so HOW? Can anyone walk me through the process of what to do Thanks

oluchibabe:Sun dry it ,you might be lucky.I remember my prepaid meter CUI had similar issue. The battery overstayed and released chemicals into it and it stopped working. I loosened the board,sun-dried both sides of the panel and it and it is still working till now. |
