Lots of people genuinely bought into Nnamdi Kanus messaging and rightly so. They believe him. They feel for his losses;The deaths of his parents and relatives. They genuinely feel he has done enough and has sacrificed a lot for his people.
So "sit at home" is the barest minimum the people can use to show appreciation and solidarity to him..
It's not like folks are burning down houses and cars
By saying that the people can not even protest by sitting at home, Soludo is saying that the people have no right to protests.
Soludo has no such rights!
