i dropped an update about a week or two ago after talking to a nipost staff from where i pick up my items, they have not received items since November last year. A certain amount of money is being owed(i do not know who is owing who) so items that arrive Nigeria via NIPOST are not scanned into Nigeria hence their tracking just remain at arrival at airport.Until the debt is paid nothing may move.

Seems this is exactly what’s happening.

NIPOST launched an automated payment solution around late October last year. Maybe they are having issues implementing it or they are having issues with Customs as regards payments (including previous ones)

I want to get a phone worth around 550$ from aliexpress(xiaomi 14 ultra) but I don't want any situation where I have to bribe custom to get my phone or any custom related issues.
Which shipping route is safe and preferable to avoid custom related issues.

I have December 23,18, 14, 13, and 9.
None has moved.
You could go pick an item at the local post office and a week later you go back to find out your name was the last recorded customer attended to. CRAZY TIMES

had similar issues about 5 refunds since November last year got refunded for some later bank claimed I wasn't charged, went to Ali they collected my bank details later got an email from the escalated team to go to my bank I requested for the ARN they said it was just a system issue that I should go to my bank

Its 3 months now uba credited me some while others are pending or no update yet

Uba refund process is a mess 😳

As it is now do not buy items on Ali that will get you refunded

Safest Bank right now is Opay or your Bank dollar card

If I may ask, like what is it that you ordered?

Also, where are you based cos I learnt location too plays a factor (the closer to Lagos, the earlier it gets delivered)

And the other one in transit, has it moved from Lagos, like has it been handed over to last mile delivery?

What u will do is that go to the bank with the date u were debited they will check your account and lodge then u wait u might receive it or not
