CyynthiaKiss:Pushing his luck how? Just listen to yourself. Is it not the folks like you and your leadeds, ala "evil thrive when good men do notbing", who should rise to support Soludo's effort to end the pervasive and deleterious evil influence of IPOB in the SE? You insultingly advocate the FG obliterate Northern terrorists without mercy and send them to 72 Virginia in the afterlife but you have no qualms backing IPOB and attacking Soludo who is ready to use his official position and might to confront them. Same as Northerners are busy abetting terrorists while their leaders make peace deals with genocidal and serial killer bandits. I just dont understand the duplicity and hypocrisy that makes you see yourselves as different to Northerners and SE as different to the North. This is why I insist daily, of six geo-political regions (SW, SS SE, NC, NE and NW) it is only the SW and SS, with the NC to an extent, giving Nigeria socio-economic pride and normalcy currently while the rest of you, leaders and followers, are severely warped beyond redemption and will be the cause if Nigeria ever descend into the horrendous ethnic cleansing strife of Rwanda many would rather forget than imagine ever seeing again. |

The fact is these pple enforce this sit at home with force and violence… but yall want to pretend that the whole anambra pple chose to stay at home in solidarity….. The governor should first go and enrol his kids in those schools |

Sometimes I do wonder why some people quote that some schools should be lock just because they don't want to die Why blame them ... Have you been to the east when this guy's are shooting Have you seen people died due to this and what has the governor done to stop it Even I traveled on a Monday one day and I was frightened because of gun shots and all Is that where you want kids to go to Let's think safety first before politics No life lost can be alive again Let the governor kids come to the school first as a good example and others will follow jmoore: |

WizardOfNG:Leave this shalaye abeg...! In the past, people defied these Ipob terrorists to open businesses, and what did the governors do to protect them?!! You can't be more vested in creating a false image of prosperity while leaving the rot in your state security architecture. All of you are more interested in portraying Nigeria as great rather than actually making the nation excel in all ramifications. You have been claiming that the nation is safer than it was 10 years ago, while hundreds get kidnapped, maimed, robbed and killed every month. If we spent more time and resources actually eliminating corruption, crime and terrorism in every state and at all levels, we wouldn't need to force people to project the nation in a good light... It would be glaring for all to see. A painted and well dressed monkey will still climb trees and cause nuisance. |

EponObi:[b] how did he stamp his foot With mouth How many police does he command Can he secure the thousands of schools in the state simultaneously You will make a terrible leader This is an issue Obi should add his voice to and tell his people to listen to reason. But he won't because it's not happening in Lagos or other regions in Nigeria. Again, it's well. |

EponObi:Your type blame the victims instead of the oppressors. Your advice should be for the government to provide adequate security cover for the citizens and not the other way round. Can Soludo move around without his security with him. Some people look for every reason to kill others and given them a reason is what parents would not like, for the traders, yes, they are adults and can defend themselves but exposing the children to danger is what parents may not forgive themselves for. |

naptu2:It’s simple, the people have decided to give up Monday in solidarity with the ipob leader…forcing them out on Monday or trying to stop the sit at home without the release of the ipob leader with create the insecurity….there is peace when no one is forced to go out on mondays.. Nigerians thought by now the east will be tired, but the SE can sit at home every Monday till the end of time until the ipob leader is released. |

| Re: Soludo Threatens To Shut Private Schools That Fail To Open On Mondays by hotseat: 4:08pm On Jan 29 |
The markets are being closed every Monday as a mark of sustained pressure on the FG to set MNK free. Opening the markets for business would be viewed as a sign of failure and utter defeat. On the part of the Anambra State government, the seemingly endless Monday shutdowns is having a counterproductive effect on the economy of the State and the time has come to put a stop to it. It's, therefore, out of desperation or frustration that Governor Soludo had to shutdown the ever-busy Onitsha Main Market in order to break the cycle. All stakeholders must resolve to finding a lasting solution to the crisis in order to move the State and, indeed, the SE forward! @hotseat |

Thewrath:"forcing them out on Monday or trying to stop the sit at home without the release of the ipob leader with create the insecurity" Tell me something! So who is behind the insecurity and who are the people causing thr insecurity? What is the nature of this insecurity? Why is it only when the Ipob leader is detained and people go out on Mondays that the insecurity will appear?? And how come people play football and go to parties on Monday without the insecurity? Did you watch the video? The governor said that other markets were open and people were trading and it was difficult for his motorcade to pass. So how come there is no insecurity at other markets, only at Onitsha Main Market? |
| Re: Soludo Threatens To Shut Private Schools That Fail To Open On Mondays by Brightest04(m): 4:15pm On Jan 29 |
I wonder what is wrong with Nigeria politicians. You want to shut private schools you're not responsible for its funding. Is it not a private business with the owner having absolute authority over? Soludo should find something else to do. |
