The moment Russia has the whole of the Donbass, Ukraine will accept Russia terms of surrender. Which is what is sticking out in the peace deal. Which is what Ukraine and Europe are selling to Trump. You cannot gain what you have not conquered on the battlefield

All they talk about is how to get Russia to end the war.

Everyday it is 1000-37, 1000-38, 1000-30. If Ukrainians are having this casualties at this rate, in less than 8 months, Russia would have reached Poland. Propaganda is part of warfare , Russia is yet to encircle the Donbass for close to 4years? Even after 1000 Ukrainians death per week? It took the Red army 2 years to walk from Stalingrad to Berlin yet Russia have expended 4 years killing 1000 Ukrainians per week and cannot occupy the whole of the Donbass

Of all the comments I read, yours particularly stood out for ignorance.
It is clearly obvious majority hasn't been following or updated themselves with recent happenings in the war but often feel very opinionated.

The war has taking a turn that has completely neutralized UA abilities to launch an offensive (in the form of counter offensive) and although 2025, many expected some offensive from UA since we had the 2024 Kursk incursion, which was reversed, and 2023 heavily publicized counter offensive, which did not make any headway and was considered a huge blunder on the operational level due to the choice of direction of the offensive towards tokmak.

Only 2025 alone 5,000 sqKm was lost and if same feat is repeated this year then UA will lose Zaporizhia as most analysts has begun to point out.

But all this update is too much for you who has not followed the war recently.
You should catch up and bring yourself up to speed before you reply to this

Ukraine has recruited Africans, Americans, British, German, French, Italian, Polish, Australians, Finns, Swedes, Colombians, Canadians, Georgians, Spaniards, Japanese, Mexicans, South Koreans, Former ISIS members, Prisoners and fighters from every corner of the world. In their tens of thousands.

Does the US share boundary with Afghanistan?
Russia and Ukraine are neighbours and they share a vast area as land boundary between the two countries.
That is different from US that had to fly and travel thousands of kilometres to fight in Afghanistan.
Some of you people cannot contextualize issues properly.

More than 4 countries allowed the US to use their bases and airspace to fight Afghanistan.

Why didn't they fight Afghanistan all the way from America since they're so powerful? Why use other countries?

The US have never fought any war without military support from all their allies.

Russia went into Ukraine without anyone's support. Despite 35,000 sanctions, they're still fighting till today.

If Russia is taking 4 years to fight Ukraine that they share land boundary with and there is no sign of imminent victory, then that should tell you how strong Russia is.
By the way, if you must know, Russia went to fight Afghanistan and they suffered heavy, severe defeat; more than what you think the US suffered in Afghanistan. Go do your research.
