I thought she apologize to mercy Johnson some times ago
Yes she did, but the damage she caused is still affecting the family, her children are being stigmatized for being mothered by a witch.

for crying out loud who let you loose? did you at all read to understand what our argument was on. it isn't about the nation or politics.

where is it written in the constitution that not granting bail at first hearing of a suit is against your human right? mind you our argument has being on expository and not politicians.
It is okay and not shocking to see your likes gain cheap and useless popularity facelessly on a public forum by flaunting your gross lack of comprehension, and ability to think even when what was posted up was in clear simple English.
That you do think this has nothing to do with politics makes you unworthy of my engagement, if you seriously think Mercy Johnson who mostly lived low-key before her recently found spot in the political space would go this route against a colleague, then you should stop taking those doses of retardium.
You mention the constitution? I laugh, do you seriously think someone with a name and connect measuring the same as that of MJ would suffer the same outcome? Is this not Nigeria where people have even refused to appear in court or even respect court orders and with no consequences? You're not Martian, it is obvious to the blind what is at play here, continue to deny the fact that this is bullying a person by hiding under the auspices of the law, cheap judges and a very corrupt legal system, there will be people like you in the commentary when it is your turn or that of a loved one to dance.

Hahhahahhaha.
They think everything is social media chochocho.

When a serious person decides to deal with you legally even for the slightest insult your body go tell you.

Hmmm..... Was she supposed to be remanded in prison when preliminaries have not found her guilty. What about if she won the case case. What would be her compensation for the prison experiencehuh

This Cyber bulling law supposed not be a criminal law but civil because it looks like an easy tool in the hand of the highly placed to oppress the downtrodden.

Please, look beyond this Angela case...
I can’t believe some of the ru:bbish some of you put out on Nairaland.

Are you aware that in all criminal cases, the default position is to remand the accused in custody, pending bail application, except when they are lucky to be able to secure immediate bail. That is the way it is done in advanced countries, before you people move to the next phase of your argument ie ‘in saner climes’.

You are talking about the ‘highly placed oppressing the downtrodden’, isn’t the opposite the case in Nigeria of today, where one idiot will wake up, go to social media and call someone he he/she has never ever met before, a ritualist or a criminal?

There should be consequences, otherwise the dangerous trend where many crazy people on social media are desperate to monetise, therefore ready to post anything to generate traffic, must be curbed otherwise it will become so bad that no one’s reputation will be safe in the long run.

The law may not be able to get everybody now, but let them use a few people as scapegoats, and ensure the full weight of the law descends on them, so that even the so-called friends they made from their ‘cruise’ will stay running away from them.

I am a certified member of the National Advocate for a Transparent Criminal Justice System.

My membership number is AO- 64572HP - ABJ.

Go to their portal and confirm. I am an advocate fighting this kind of compromise judicial process.
What happened to that Lady was an oppression to punish her.
I don't care neither did I doubt your membership status of whatever organisation you subscribe to.

Fight it first.

Change the law first or tell those you defend to be civil in their dealings before it becomes criminal or else you will have a whole lot that you can't handle in this age where people feel it's ok to just wake up and defame people for no reason!

It remains your prerogative if you assert that the law should be civil and not criminal BUT for me, as long as people choose to make baseless allegations then they should have the law to contend with. Simple!

See Olunloyo making frivolous allegations about Davido and other examples abound but we won't see people like you making commentary on people being civil but the moment she gets picked up, you bare your fangs and remember oh it is the rich trying to "oppress" the poor!

Exactly my point...we can't continue on this dangerous path of allowing anything to slip by and Mercy Johnson has made it clear that she's not taking captives this year...you do anyhow, you see anyhow!

Shut up.
In the criminal Code Act section 28, there are 3 categories of criminal offense.

Deformation doesn't falls under the category of serious offense or felony. It falls in the category of a minor offense and not a serious offense.
This is why some compromise judge's use you guys to play because you don't know anything.
Ewu Gambia, you can be locked up for two years in prison if accuse someone of being a witch in Nigeria under section 2 of criminal code. Go and read all the accusations Angela made about Mercy Johnson. You illiterate forming rubbish.

Possible. It is left for Obi to do something about it if he wants.

But some of your people here are claiming that it a criminal offense and that police has the right to arrest anyone for that and charge them to court.

So are you people saying the police is selective on who is committing a criminal offense or not?
