I don't know about Sanderson himself but Amazon bought rights for the Wheel of Time franchise alone. That venture wasn't really successful for them so I guess they bounced out.

Funny thing is GRRM never finishes one thing and instead jump on another story or idea of his whilst still not completing the new venture and fantasizing about another. Winds of Winter wey fans don dey halla for since now getting to a decade and Baba never still finish am.

I'm of the opinion that Winds of Winter exactly happens the way Game of Thrones TV show ended with a few variations but seeing how fans angrily reacted to the ending, GRRM chickened out and instead found another venture while giving us lamba about working on it. He's stuck in writer's block and don't know how to navigate that issue.

When they are not faithful to the source material, nko? It's one thing to take creative liberties; it is another to also be faithful to the source material.

Critics had an axe to grind with them on WoT...I just don't know what is difficult there in adapting correctly. Waste of money.

With Apple's budget and the original author with total creative control, this could be some pristine cooking.

I've always wondered Apple TV's fixation with the Sci-fi genre.

Bridgerton season 4 started with a bang.
Just episode 1 and i am actually loving the concept and storyline.
This is going to be one hell of an interesting Season, you can already feel the tension in the air in just episode 1.
