Lolz, with 10,000 despite all the Muslim muslim propaganda and hate against APC. Imagine what happened few days later in the governorship and what's going to happen in 2027. Don't play dear.

Yesterday was a no no

Construction work affected vehicular movement

It now looks like the road is small and needs more lanes
Yet many hypocrite Obidients on nairaland said it was a waste of money.

Any body that stays in Lagos, particularly on the Island, and still considers Obi better than BAT needs to go for a psychological evaluation.

We told them that no infrastructure is useless once it is built. They were listening to all the opposition that offered nothing.

Atiku's condemnation of the road was at least to ask for clarification on the contracting process. That one is good small, but you see the other guy, that one who likes to attend burials,

He considered it a waste; it is the same waste that is benefiting Nigerians in Lagos now.

Fear who exactly?
Go and read the 2 criticisms and tell me if you cannot tell how intellectually deficient lamba king is compared to Atiku or whoever wrote Atiku's criticism.
I will not be surprised if Obi himself has also used that road by now, let him go and see what it is to build a road. He should measure the thickness and compare it to the ones he claimed he built when he was governor, which did not survive one raining season.

As long as there is traffic & go slow movement, hawkers must show up.

And the irony is that most of them are from the S E, from the zone of them that criticizes Lagos the most.

You have started this tribal propaganda again that you embark upon in 2023 and told us how Tinubu built Lagos more than all the people before him even the federal government.

But the funny thing was that after all these propaganda and lies telling, the same Lagos people preferred Peter Obi over him and I guess it was a very big blow to Tinubu and his supporters, that's why they will never like Obi till the end of time.

Imagine after all the propaganda, beating/ harassing of voters in Lagos and castigating Peter Obi and still he gave Tinubu and his supporters a very big bloody nose in Lagos?

At least, do not change the narrative. The majority of people never said it was not needed. They only questioned it's ridiculous cost.

By 10k votes, right? What we are saying is that anyone who voted for him because he believes he will bring more development than Tinubu needs to go for a psychological evaluation.

The only reason not to is if you voted for him for mundane reasons, which is at least understandable.

The Lagos State government should have constructed those roads to ease traffic in that area of Lagos. Just because that area is heavy in traffic doesn't justify building a road from Lagos to Calabar. This whole post is just lacking sense.
Re: Daily Evening Rush-hour Traffic On The Coastal Highway In Lagos by Hurray2030: 1:17pm On Jan 30
Pls the issue is that Lagos is supposed to be opening up road. If VGC to Lekki phase 1 new road has been completed,we would have opened up the whole area from Ajah to Lekki. However,LASG were supposed to have constructed the coastal road about 20yrs ago but they didn't and I don't know why? The Calabar to Lagos coastal road was for another reason and not to help decongest Lagos traffic
Re: Daily Evening Rush-hour Traffic On The Coastal Highway In Lagos by BENEAMATA: 1:20pm On Jan 30
Nobody voted for Tinubu just so his administration should wait for the opinion of a third class, third placed, , rolling stone before they carry out projects and bring major developments . The Badagry - Sokoto road rehab is also in progress as we speak .
Re: Daily Evening Rush-hour Traffic On The Coastal Highway In Lagos by 9jatriot(m): 1:24pm On Jan 30
Read what you wrote here again. So because of traffic in Lagos, a road was built all the way to Calabar, does that sound sensible to you?

The coastal road was built to provide easy access across the SS to Lagos. If Lagosians, who incidently are also Nigerians benefit from it, is it a crime? Will the other states on the Corridor not also benefit from it?

Re: Daily Evening Rush-hour Traffic On The Coastal Highway In Lagos by 9jatriot(m): 1:26pm On Jan 30
You are mistaking the regional road for coastal road. The coastal road is an FG project, the one LASG is suppose to build is the regional road.
