Nigeria is now the 6th largest contributor to global GDP. This speaks volume to how far we’ve gone in rebuilding our economy for global competitiveness. Now, we can all see why Shell wants to invest $20billion in our country over the next ten years. All these are happening and some hate filled folks will still keep lying that the economy is not improving. We must never allow them to derail this trajectory of growth and prosperity that we are experiencing. This progress must continue. Kudos to Mr. President and his team for the great job they are doing. |

tobenuel:I’m not expecting any sensible discussion or comment from folks like you. You can’t dispute the fact so the only thing you can do is start shouting Agbado all over the place. That’s the typical obidient’s way of responding to positive news. By the way, the stats in question was provided by world of statistics, a reputable global database that is followed by over 4.9 people globally on Twitter including Elon Musk. So, if Elon Musk rely on their stats, labeling them as Agbado would be an honor. |

seunmsg:data boys and statistics. oh i see you think you are clever, more reason you had to mention Elon just to beautify the Tittle of your topic. I thought Elon reacted to Nigeria's case not knowing the reaction was general. but you gats include Elon Musk so that your market will sell. leave the comfort of your laptop and keyboard enter street, enter market and give us real life statistics. I for give you food for thought today, but your data capacity is overwhelmed already. |

mrvitalis:Yeah, it’s not about Tinubu, it’s about the 2by2 shop in Onitsha that doesn’t even open on Monday. I won’t waste my time discussing economy with you. Better go back to begging Soludo to allow you open your kiosk next week. |

The people you're sharing statistics with can't comprehend - traders and dropouts They're only interested in bad news about Nigeria. See their comments, they're like their leader very crude and lack basic knowledge of national economy. |
| Re: Nigeria Makes Top 10 Contributors To Global GDP, Elon Musk Reacts by seunmsg(op): 8:33am On Jan 31 |
tobenuel:Elon Must spoke about the changing balance of power. The fact that Nigeria made the global top ten list for the very first time says a lot about the changing balance of power. The fact that we now contribute more to global economy that Germany, UK, France etc should excite all sensible Nigerians and not attract anger and hate. I’m really sorry for folks like you who just can’t be happy for your country. Sadly for you, this trajectory of growth will continue and there is nothing You all can do to stop it. So brace up buddy, more good news coming for the country. |

Chai. They have come with their propaganda. After rigging elections, they are now rigging statistics. Nigeria is nowhere close to top ten contributors to GDP. Elon Musk didn't do his fact check before sharing. Chai!! |

Go tell it to the middle class that have dissappeared from our national life now. Suddenly the "nah statistics we go chop" are running after stats that are just paper details. A struggling mono-oil dependent economy contributing to global GDP while its citizens are struggling with everyday economic realities. It is not easy being an agbado miscreants. |

jmoore:Nigeria does not even rank well among the top 10 in African let alone globally. Wait first sir. You know where the propaganda is from. Reality is reality |

| Re: Nigeria Makes Top 10 Contributors To Global GDP, Elon Musk Reacts by AmishaCandra: 9:47am On Jan 31 |
I see some foolish comments here giving credit to the president lol... First, what this ranking actually means: It measures contribution to growth, not total economic size or prosperity. Nigeria’s 1.5% contribution reflects population size, rebound effects, and nominal expansion not productivity strength, industrial dominance, or income growth. And what it does not mean ❌ Nigerians are suddenly richer ❌ The economy is diversified ❌ Infrastructure, power, or manufacturing are fixed ❌ Living standards are improving fast No, so why are you giving credit to those who do not deserve it? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
