What is our GDP per capita.. that’s the main issue . You can have higher GDP and More population . And you will find a country with low GDP but less population doing better

Yeah, it’s not about Tinubu, it’s about the 2by2 shop in Onitsha that doesn’t even open on Monday. I won’t waste my time discussing economy with you. Better go back to begging Soludo to allow you open your kiosk next week.
Na that 2*2 shop they are using to buy up your ancestral lands in Lagos and south west. Try and respect that 2*2 shop. It has done a lot of wonders in your region.

Nigeria is now the 6th largest contributor to global GDP. This speaks volume to how far we’ve gone in rebuilding our economy for global competitiveness. Now, we can all see why Shell wants to invest $20billion in our country over the next ten years.

All these are happening and some hate filled folks will still keep lying that the economy is not improving. We must never allow them to derail this trajectory of growth and prosperity that we are experiencing. This progress must continue. Kudos to Mr. President and his team for the great job they are doing.
Rubbish. Prople like you make me sad. Macro indicesmean nothing to the man on the street. Living conditions have worsened since 2023 progressively. give me contrary data to that then i will listen. i am making 4 times what I was earning in 2022 but Iam not better off today due to inflation. That is the reality. You paid urchins keep spweing nonsense. God will judge you all

The top 10 GDP countries in 2025 are the United States, China, Japan, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, France, Brazil, Italy, and Canada.
I wonder where the op got his Oluwole statistics.

Elon Must spoke about the changing balance of power. The fact that Nigeria made the global top ten list for the very first time says a lot about the changing balance of power. The fact that we now contribute more to global economy that Germany, UK, France etc should excite all sensible Nigerians and not attract anger and hate. I’m really sorry for folks like you who just can’t be happy for your country. Sadly for you, this trajectory of growth will continue and there is nothing
You all can do to stop it. So brace up buddy, more good news coming for the country.
After contributing more to global gdp than UK, Germany and France. Your citizens will sell all their assets to japa to UK, Germany and France. You can't shame the shameless

Don't mind the losers. Without two by two shops how will the products made in factories get to every street, state, community, village in Nigeria.

That's L for Europe, his intended audience not you and I here in Nigeria.

Europe is in steady decline and there seem not to be hope for them.
It one of the reasons why US wants to decouple them, it can keep propping them up.
Germany is struggling with a 1% GDP growth for years now and the rest if EU is in steady decline.

Bad policies, bad leaders. Hopefully, they will wake up and do something about their situation.

Nigeria too has leadership problems but there's hope and sooner or later we will get it right

It only speaks of what little growth can do to a large population. You should notice that the list is populated by the most populous nations. So even though the Ivory Coast or Senegal are growing at a far greater rate, you don't see them on that list.
You shouldn't turn everything into propaganda and into a political battale agaist those of us who are against the worst government in the history of our country.
We have seen far greater growth and much better government in Nigeria, so we can tell the difference.

Contributors to growth rate, growth or GDP?

Going by your interpretation, Nigeria is ahead of Japan and Germany.

Nigeria needs to get serious honestly. Our GDP needs to grow by at least 7% annually for 10% straight to catch up.

Things go wrong, it's Tinubu's fault, however, good news has nothing to do with him. Their hatred for anything Yoruba will be their end.

That’s the typical obidient’s way of responding to positive news. By the way, the stats in question was provided by world of statistics, a reputable global database that is followed by over 4.9 people globally on Twitter including Elon Musk. So, if Elon Musk rely on their stats, labeling them as Agbado would be an honor.
Forget statistics and face reality. The Nigerian economy is nothing to brag about. Same miserable story, while the greedy people are living larger than their means.

Sober up and ask yourself if this is the handiwork of Tinubu or a natural factor of the size of Nigeria - whose economy was the largest in Africa before APC and is now at fourth or fifth, and whose GDP fell by more than half since Tinubu resumed.
