It's when you jump bail that they will be made to pay the money. If you no run there will be no need to pay the money.

You are jokes here, simply question did the judiciary arrested her for trial? The case was brought to the court and the case has to hear.it now left to her to defend herself

Omo, not supporting what Angela Okorie did. But I think there is a lot of lacuna here. By the way, I think the lawyer handling her case should do better. Calling someone a witch or wizard depends on the context. Anyways, I don’t know what led to it. What do I know sef?

I hope Angela okorie has enough evidence to substantiate her claims against Mercy as those allegations are very weighty!

Nobody collects bail money. It means that if the bailed individual jumps bail, the money will be collected from the Surety and paid into the court account

If she didn't do anything then I can support your position not when the person erred already, if you like use Nigerian police o prosecute someone who stole as long as he is guilty of theft I don't see anything wrong I only castigate tg process when false charges are brought. This lady went too far, in this country we don't take accountability for our actions that's why defamation reigns supreme.

Oga, you have to prove that the person is a witch or else it is defamation. There is a criminal and civil aspect to it. Nigerians better watch their mouth before it gets them into trouble.
There use to be a court around that iyana ipaja bridge, about 17 years ago I had reasons to be there, I over heard the police advising 3 young men apparently siblings that why can't they get elderly people to go beg one woman they had case with, Omo, the boys said they had tried, from elders in the neighborhood to village people they had brought to beg. Now imagine police telling accuse to go and beg, ie even the police weh no de ordinarily get conscience don taya for matter, lol.
What happened, about 2 years before those boys living with their mother were neighbors with the woman accusing them, the woman na old lawyer without husband and no kids. The woman and the boys mother had issues over spreading cloths, na so the brothers come outside and they had a shouting match, exchange of words, nothing those boys no insult the woman, from ashawo, to witch, them say watin pain the woman pass na say those boys said she can ever see husband, lol na there yawa gas! That lady lawyer now made it her life ambition, her calling or focus in life to ensure she ruins those boys lives. The police IPO was gisting me that those brothers has spent months in jail, remanded in kirikiri before being granted bail, since thst bail na so so court appearance, imagine poor people having to pay lawyer to save them from a determined woman witch like old lady lawyer who has made it her life's ambition to send them to jail, lol. Infact I had to use style to go and see the woman's face, true true she resemble witch, lol. Very worwor, but na lawyer.
Omo better to be careful with what comes out of one's mouth before it gets someone into trouble.

This is not a criminal offense. It's a civil case . Which one 5m bail, for what exactly. Did she commit a criminal offense. This is totally wrong.

i am saying this because this is not the first time she arrested people, its beginning to look like an abuse of power, arresting people left and right because her husband has that influence. That's not fair.
