In my current location, I recently contributed 4k per tenant on each compound, which was used to purchase an armoured cable at a cost of #1.5m. Throughout the festive period to date, there has been no electricity in my village because all 3 transformers armoured cables were vandalised.

It’s so frustrating.. what can be done to stop all this

In most cases, concrete cement is not applied when burying these armoured cables in the ground. Some are not even buried at all, so vandalising them silently is very easy.
