I don’t know if this will make sense to you or not, but me personally, I always feel they’re lucky with water cuz of their water goddess. You know it’s a state that worships water, the popular Osun/osogbo festival, hence why they have water blessings… Just my personal thinking tho..

Very few people in Osun state worship the river goddess.

Without the needed work of engineers, technicians, lab scientists, quality assurance, administrative staff etc, the river goddess can’t make pipe borne water available to buildings.

He is right, even in the whole of Lekki you can't get drinkable water, when I was living in Amuwo we bought water for drinking, washing and bathing because the water there is useless. Since moving to my own house I have spent over 4m treating water, the last reversed osmosis equipment they installed has given us clean water for bathing and cooking but far from drinkable.

The reason it appears there's an acute shortage is that these underground reserves are in aquifers that are far away from the city, hence the widespread use of water transport tankers for distribution.

If you need quality water in Enugu, e dey.

Its a very bad thing for my state Benue state with the whole River Benue couldn't be found among these states listed above. Even Kogi state too. Bad and poor leadership in Benue state is the root caused of this. Stealing public funds for personal enrichment is the order of the day in government house Makurdi.

If Delta State isn't on this list, then it is fake.

The Lagos na the one wey me stay abi na another one? Go lekki water na issue, water wey you drink for Ikeja get different taste and colour from the one you drink for Ajegunle..Abeg this statistics get K leg.

If Enugu have water but it can’t get to everyone I think is the same as there is no water .

I'm a Researcher, specializing in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). I can tell you boldly that your statistics is by far bias.
The only state that has access to Clean water in Nigeria is Imo.

I can confirm that of Ekiti. Government water dey waste for here

Are you sure you live in Lagos? Maybe you live in Lekki or Ajah. Come to the Mainland and drill borehole, and see water gushing out in time.

When I was drilling my borehole, I was surprised seeing water coming quicker than I expected; I had to tell them to dig deeper for cleaner and drinkable water.

Even those that live in highbrow areas like Lekki and the rest don't have access to clean water and Lagos is number one on their list.

This can't be correct because if it is, Lagos wouldn't be number one.
In most parts of Lagos, when digging borehole, you don't need to dig too deep to get water but to see drinking water, it's almost impossible. You'll always need treatment especially on the island even on the mainland, to get drinking water for some area like Apapa na war, you'll also need to be treating the water.
This statistic is definitely wrong in my opinion.

They said access to clean drinking water ,that means treated water bro not raw water , the north lack both raw and treated water ,cos of the terrain.
