jmoore:it was not fake. It's just that Nigerians can't read. It was just Nigeria's share of the global GDP growth for 2025 alone. Not Nigeria's actual GDP. |

We really need to discuss in this country. Sit down together and reason objectively without any sentiments. These are the hard questions we need to ask ourselves: are we ready to stay together as a country? If No, how do we dissolve the country amicably and how long wld it take? If yes, then we need serious and hard talks. Nigeria is very rich in natural resources, why can't we turn it to wealth, wetin dey sup with agriculture, we are good land for crops and animal husbandry, what ware we doing about it? Imagine in the 21st century, we are still discussing famers and herders clash. What a shame. Counties have left us behind. Imagine since 1960 that we gained independence we can only boast of 5000mw(mega watts) of electricity where Brazil 200gw (giga watts). |

The irony of this list is that the number one owes a debt of over 33 trillion with a GDP of 30 trillion! Can economist in the house tell us the implication of this if it were an African country? |

mrvitalis:When you were 24th sir... Were u as a country... Better than Denmark in 36th?? Just a simple yes or no would do |
| Re: GDP By Country 2025: See Where Nigeria Is. by mrvitalis(m): 5:19pm On Feb 01 |
Dennisochampa:What do you mean better... If it's about development that's not measured in GDP Rater HDI and Denmark was better If it's about citizens income/productivity that's measure with GDP per capita Denmark was better than us as per individual per citizens basis that's a fact But lowering our GDP would have worsened our stand even more.. So I don't really get your point |

| Re: GDP By Country 2025: See Where Nigeria Is. by Putinofrussia: 6:46pm On Feb 01 |
mrvitalis:That was because oil was selling at over $100 dollars for years. When price of oil dropped to $78,Nigeria was totally down and we were borrowing money to pay workers. The govt at that time sold and got the highest revenue ever from oil but stole all the money with nothing to point to except "we were buying a bag of rice at #8000" ![]() he govt was a total disaster. The handlers of the economy then were kind of empty. If they should handle the economy now,Nigeria will go totally bankrupt. Thanks to the ingenuity of President Tinubu. |
