simeonabio:You forgot SUBSIDY REMOVAL ![]() ![]() You only have an argument IF Subsidies weren’t removed. All the Presidential Candidates in the last election, agreed to remove subsidies, the CANCER in Nigeria economy. |

Streetinvestor2:Don't be ignorant. That rate you're talking about was being subsidized. It was not the real rate. Government was defending the Naira to keep it at the rate, yet the rate kept falling. Today, no foreign exchange subsidy, and the rates keep improving. |

Fuckyoumod:I'm already living my reality. The N400/$ was a fraudulent and fake platform. A country who imports trillions on litres of petrol and import practically everything has no business expecting strong currency. You better face your own reality |

anonimi:I'm not a member or an advocate of APC, but I'm 💯 in support of the reforms of the current administration, Nigeria as a country has no options than to find its way back to recovery. I'm bearing the pain also, but it could have been worse. Look at the wasteful fuel subsidy! |
| Re: Naira Posted Its First Annual Gain In 13 Years by Lifestone(m): 9:16am On Feb 03 |
reddingtonblack:How is this the creation of the current administration? I'm in total support of the current reforms which by the way should have been done way back during the government of Yaradua/GEJ. The tackless Buhari, who apparently does not know a thing about economy simply made it worse. But for the removal of the wasteful subsidy and merger of the two tier currency, it would have been hell now. I may not be a political fan of PBAT, but I'm 💯 with him on the reforms |

Lifestone:Why is A-looter Propaganda Conmen, APC presidents borrowing more money than PDP presidents despite removing subsidy TWICE in the last 11 years? What happened to the trillions of Naira and billions of dollars saved from subsidy removal in 2016 AND in 2023? Do you know any other reason, apart from worsening corruption under the pretentious ![]() gabydaniels: |
| Re: Naira Posted Its First Annual Gain In 13 Years by Lifestone(m): 9:42am On Feb 03 |
anonimi:You ask those questions from APC spoke person, I'm not one. But what I know is that Nigeria was at its knee when this Government took over power in 2023, we were borrowing money to pay salaries and borrow to pay debt, over N30 trillion Ways and Means, the fraudulent two tier exchange rates, one for the powerful, the other for the ordinary people. We have sold our crude 6years production upfront! collected the money and spent, It was bad. If any succeeding government was not as courageous as the current administration, we will all have been on our knees now |
| Re: Naira Posted Its First Annual Gain In 13 Years by LongT(m): 9:42am On Feb 03 |
It is true that many people are ignorant of how the exchange rate truly works, albeit it's correlation to prices of goods and services in the market which is very much rational. To those that gloat on people's ignorance of the topic by attacking first hand, it will do you guys greater good if you channel such negative energies to educating the people rather than insult their intelligence. Nigerian factor is like ebb and flow, while we are singing praises of nairas appreciation on paper, it truly does not translate into our living condition. |

Lifestone:who told you they don't still import fuel even now? |
| Re: Naira Posted Its First Annual Gain In 13 Years by Lifestone(m): 9:48am On Feb 03 |
TOPCRUISE:Incidentally I'm not a member of APC and didn't even vote for PBAT in the 2023 election, but I had long believed that we need a bold reformists, we lost the opportunity for a decent reforms during Yaradua/GEJ to regig the economy for prosperity, GEJ was too weak a leader, that's why opposition like Bola Ahmed could heck him to submission on his reforms such as the removal of petrol subsidy and the political reform that he wasted billions and the report went into archive. Oh be sure that PBAT will have my vote in 2027 except I could have others on the ballot that will take the reforms a notch further than him |

Lifestone:If Tinubu is any better than Buhari at looting and corruption why is he borrowing more money despoite increased revenue and telling lies about no more borrowing? Since you are not APC spokesperson, why are you defending their worse corruption ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E1p2_kaKV6g Nigeria’s public debt hits ₦152.4trn in Q2 2025 — DMO |

smartkester:Is it not dangerous to be so ignorant and simultaneously arrogant as he is, with his fraudulent and fake defense of All Promises Cancelled, APC ![]() Lifestone should be concerned that his reformist balablu idol is importing fuel despite two NNPC refineries producing since 2015 and the one of PH exporting since 2024, in addition to PDP-licensed Dangote private refinery. Dennisochampa:God bless you, bro 👍. Their Own Contributions na to looks Odd, Complain, Hates and spreads Falsehoods and be Bitter about Tinubu's Govt. It is their AGENDA,but when their brother Emefiele looted N-Trillions in Ways and Means-CBN Accounts - that one has no Economic consequences ,for that,e no concerns them, for they don't Think Deep On that Singlelar Decisions - Affecting Everyone In Nigeria. anonimi:You obviously lack understanding of basic economics. Borrowing is not the problem, the problem is what you are borrowing to do. When you borrow to finance infrastructures especially those assets that can generate revenue for self servicing, then it's proper (tolled Road as an example), so I support completely borrowing money to do the Coastal Road to be tolled, Lagos Ibadan expressway should be tolled, markudi to Enugu should be tolled, Ibadan to Kaduna, A1 should be tolled. Those tolled Road will maintain themselves and free resources to fix our basic areas of about failing like Education, Primary Healthcare etc. So get educated |
