All these obedient delusional comments I've read so far . Obi can't get same votes he got in 2023, mind you he won't win Lagos in 2027.He rode on the hatred people, (especially Christians) had for Muslim-muslim ticket and for Tinubu because of the end-sars aftermath. As it is, the truth is Obi has been reduced to a regional / tribal presidential candidate, thanks to his Igbo brothers and sisters insulting other regions especially the Yorubas when Tinubu emerged as the winner. So many Yoruba youths, who voted for obi last election have sworn never to vote for him again. Thanks to the insults and bullies of the Igbos online. Now their true colour is out. Even if ADC hands Obi the ticket, he won't win. The North will never make the mistake and vote for him, because that will ruin their chance of coming back to power in 2031 because we all know it's a lie for a desperate Obi to spend 4 years in Aso Rock and leave . Another reason is his tribe and religion. I won't want to dwell much on those ones. We all know how the North vote, it's always along religion and tribe. Aside the North. The Yorubas, on the other hand, will not give their block votes to Obi when they have their son in power, it's not possible! Reason Obi is now reduced to regional /tribal candidate. South-south and North central votes will be splitted and I see Tinubu winning there. Another factor that will work for Tinubu is the power of incumbency. Tinubu is not Jonathan. Even when all odds were against him in his party,he still got the ticket. Now that he's in power, you think 100 Obi can remove him? ![]() This is the pure truth, I know it hurts and it's hurts so bad . Obedients so sorry about that. I know the next thing is to call me names as usual ![]() Note: I'm just a Nigerian observing the way our politics is going. I don't have anything to do with APC, ADC, Tinubu, Obi Atiku, obedient etc. I just say it the way it is. |

Stop living in denial. Come closer, let me tell you what Northerners are discussing in their guarded moments. " No Igbo man will ever smell Aso Rock" You can never be President of Nigeria without the Muslim North, ask GEJ and presently you are even living under a Mumu ticket yet still living in denial. lawani: |

How many votes did your Obi get in Kano? How many votes did Kwankwaso get in Anambra state? We are talking about Nigerian Presidency, not Kano state vote oga. The earlier you open your eyes that election in Nigeria is based on tribalism and religion, the better for you obidients and Igbos. Igbos voted for Obi 99% but no one accused you guys of being tribalists. Wake up to reality, wishful thinking can never get you into Aso Rock. If Tinubu was like you guys, he would never have been President, but he is pragmatic and ran a Mumu ticket and won while you guys were running Muslim-Christian tickets. For an Igbo man to smell Aso Rock, he must 1st be VP b4 President and the last ever chance is for Obi to queue behind Atiku, anything less than that, No Presidency for the Igbos till thy kingdom come. As for your darling Kwankwaso, how many votes outside Kano can he galvanise? Can Kwankwaso get 25% even in 10 Northern states? talk less of the 24 states required by the constitution. Lie Mohammed just told you guys some truth today, that even if Obi gets 15 million votes, he will not get 25% in 24 states. So what's the essence for Kwankwaso to get all the votes in Kano which will cancel out the votes in 4 Southern states, yet fail to get 25% in those 4 Southern states? Of what use are those votes if not to help Tinubu win? I dey pity una, I go dey here when Helinues and Yarimo and Burob go dey celebrate while una dey cry and call on UN and Trump as usual, make una no get sense. Have you ever taken time to look at the Presidential results 2023 state by state, candidate by candidate? Kwankwaso is a featherweight politician and has nothing to offer Obi except another failure. Obi/Kwankwaso ticket is dead on arrival. Your only viable ticket is AtikuObi or Tinubu till 2031, choose wisely. Had I known always comes last. Eriokanmi: |

Obj's narcissism has not allowed him to rest, because he can't just stomach the feeling that another Yoruba man became a president in his life time. He would've gladly supported Atiku if not that he disdains Atiku as much as his thoughts of another Yoruba man ruling. |

Mumu ticket dey win elections, u still dey yarn dust about Christians. Who Christians help? Run Christian Christian ticket make we know how far. If you no know the Muslim North, no wahala. No be me go teach you, just go check 2023 Presidential election results for NW and NE, then tell me where your Christians dem dey. No Presidency without the Muslim North, if you like win all Christian votes, you no go still get the highest number of votes nor get 25% in 24 states. lawani: |

blackgold2018:What the guy told you is the complete truth but I am not surprised you are rejecting it. Kwankwaso is far greater than Obi in Nigerian politics but many of you always fail to see the bigger picture. In a two horse race with Kwankwaso alone contesting against Obi, the election would have been a landslide victory for Kwankwaso. Obi got more votes than Kwankwaso just because Atiku and Tinubu had taken most of the Muslims votes. |

franvincoop:Why was the Muslim north not able to get Buhari the Presidency without any help? A Christian Christian ticket is indeed possible if a Northern Christian is the Presidential candidate. That is how Nigeria is. As Muslim Muslim is possible so is Christian Christian and it did happen during the military era |

A Christian Christian ticket is indeed possible if a Northern Christian is the Presidential candidate. I dont do ifs and buts. That is how Nigeria is. No, thats how you think Nigeria is. While you are ignoring what Muslim Northerners are saying, let me inform you how much Tinubu has changed Nigeria through this Mumu ticket. Firstly, there will never be a Northern Christian Presidential candidate in Nigeria ever, impossible from all the mainstream political parties because its electoral suicide in the Muslim North. Secondly, Tinubu mumu ticket victory has made it impossible for even a Christian VP because you can afford to lose your home State and Christian states and still become President. The answer is in plain sight, bulk votes from the Muslim North. What then is the use of a Christian VP when it can be politically correct but is a masterclass in election loss in today Nigeria? Tinubu is a living proof that Christian votes don't count and if there was ever any silent agreement on a Muslim/Christian ticket and rotation in Nigeria, that agreement is invalid. It is much easier for a Southern Muslim to become President than a Southern Christian. Even Okorocha will beat Obi blue black in the Muslim North in any election. One quick question, Considering Obi failure to get votes in the core Muslim North in 2023, do you agree that if Peter Obi was a Muslim, he would have won the 2023 elections? Tinubu has used Mumu ticket to destroy and divide Nigeria for ever cuz from here we are only going downhill, he has religiously destroyed the concept of national spread in elections, the 25% in 24 states provision in winning elections in relation to religion. The Muslim North is willing to vote a Southerner as President but only a Southern Muslim. lawani: |

franvincoop:If the ticket is zoned to where they dominate then a Northern Christian can indeed win the primaries of a political party and the person can win since it is no different than an Obasanjo or Jonathan winning. I wonder how you don't see this. Again if a major party presents a Northern Christian the person can win because Nigeria is not for Muslims alone. That Northern Christian will have to choose a strong southerner who can end up being a Christian as well. When Gowon chose Awo as vice why didn't the Muslims revolt? After Awo he still chose another Christian. Nobody revolted. Stop deceiving yourself that a Christian Christian ticket can not win election. Kano predominantly Muslim voted Awo who was a Christian. So your theory that Northern Muslims only vote southern Muslims is not correct. Awo could have won. It was only a slight miss Obi contested in a party with no structure. He had no agents in thousands of polling booths. You can't use Obi as a standard |
