ahaha...maybe this is what is causing the delay, I did a request of 8m, a simple comment on the interface while initiating redemption would have prevented all these...App developers really need to start thinking from the perspective of end users when building products and solutions mehn.

EquityM:
You should get the money soon; by the way, you can only withdraw 5m in a day.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:56am On Feb 03
That is what is causing the delay. I hope your bank is not a crazy bank that will hold your incoming funds.

Write back to CardinalStone and ask for their opinion. Btw, are you doing the fixed income fund of Cardinal?

The fixed income is a badass for now; I will fund it aggressively and compare it with the equity.

Thanks for testing all these platforms and giving us the best.
Got 30k plus on CS Alpha fixed income yesterday and I started yesterday. I'm adding more funds.

How do you check daily performance and added interest with Zrosk?
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:50am On Feb 03
Zrosk will send your portfolio and monthly performance at the end of the month. Did you sign up already? 30k plus as a gain or the money in your account?

So you have to wait till month end to see their performance. They really need to work on their website.

Yes 30k plus as gain. I'm even tempted to drop Zrosk and add massively to CS Alpha

I sent my documents to them yesterday and they confirmed it. They said they'd get back to me on the account to fund.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:55am On Feb 03
Hmmm. I see why bonds are making tremendous gains.

Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:57am On Feb 03
Yes, I hope they do work on it; however, they are reliable, and Stanbic IBTC is their custodian, while Meristem is the trustee.

But other asset management would have invested as well. Then why is theirs low.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 12:10pm On Feb 03
They are doing well for now; I compared their NAV to DLM, and DLM only edged by tiny points like 0.19. You will be getting a huge dividend in July; you can either reinvest it or spend it. It does not affect your capital.

This is a here we go moment.

CardinalStone is well positioned right now and might be the fund manager to do the highest percentage this year.

You will see the money the next day, bro. Just keep refreshing your portfolio.
Unfortunately, this isn't the case, still but I have reached out to them. I really don't know why their responses to solving issues are slow and stagnant.

Feb got off to a great start. This year could be the year of fixed income and treasury bills, as the current government continues to issue new bonds and TB. Invest wisely, and by God's grace, we will all meet our financial objectives. Lastly, it was a green day in the Cardinal and Zrosk equity fund.
Wait a minute, is this fixed with CS? Cos if that's the case then something must be fishy cos my received 0.62 as daily return as at yesterday why is yours showing 0.74 as daily return, what's happening , can you explain this or are these thing varies from individual accounts ?

Also, I observed something from my account , I mean, my fixed account investment with CS ;

My closing value is higher than my total portfolio value or total return like about N500 difference upto N600. Can you please help explain these differences or mystery to me cos I am lost and confused at the same time ?

Regards.

You know what is funny?

They call it fixed income but the income is not fixed at all.

Now depending on the asset management firm you investing with; Today you might get 0.03 percent of your capital, tomorrow you might get up to 3 percent.

It's hard to pick between MMF and fix income but let me explain their similarities and differences.

Both MMF and fixed income invest in the same short term money market except for one thing BOND, yep fixed income invest in old bond but MMF don't but some do like SFS MMF.

So while MMF gains come when interest rate is elevated, Fixed income real gains comes mostly in periods in a month when some Nigeria bank and cash strapped and looking for money, they get desperate and pay huge interest to you holding fixed Income so they can use your fund, after banking operations return to normal, you will begin to earn your peanuts.

So I will advise you do both MMF and fixed income.

I will make a video about this and post it on my YouTube channel.
The bolded is referring to corporate bond(s). Can you also talk about the state and Feb gov bond which some managers incorporate into their basket of fixed and its advantages over the corporates?

Regards.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 1:48pm On Feb 03
Since you just signed up yesterday, your returns will be lower due to the NAV. The 600 naira you saw is your gain for that day, which will be added to the total value; however, your units won't go up unless you top up or make a redemption.

Chief you need to realize that Equity fund gain is something not usually guaranteed in Nigeria in the long run because Nigeria stock market is primarily dominated with retail investors, NOT institutional investors.

According to Samson, when he was starting Zrosk, and filling out paperwork, he stumbled on one documents that holds records of CSCS number of active Nigerians in stocks market space and guess what? The number of active CSCS number was less than what he expected. Meaning very few people trade stocks in Nigeria and Nigeria stocks is still an emerging market.

However, the capital market in Nigeria is dominated with big numbers, you will always hear billions and billions in banks revenue, profit pre tax etc.

In a nutshell, Fixed income gains on days Equity has sloppy performance doesn't correlate to anything. But just bare in mind that Nigeria capital market has more money than the stock market that's why fixed income gains on peak days is unbelievable.

And for Nigeria banks, CASH is king because of how CBN regulate their activities strictly with tools like CRR, Standing facility corridor, OMO etc.

I just hope you understand all these I have written because if you do, you will have an idea why fixed income behaves the way it behaves and lastly let me shock you.

Last year 2025 was only the first time Nigeria stock market was bullish up to 51% in the last 2 decades.

Can you imagine that?
Two decade

So, imagine how the capital market has since grown in size and volume of the Nigeria economy.

Matter plenty abeg, some times I just dey too busy to type plenty.
Thank you for sharing this ....knowledge. 👍

I totally understand. Equity is still my growth, and fixed income will be my stabilizer.
It is what it is, it's all about what one feels works for them and increasing their gains. Your information and knowledge on these various investments have been so helpful and I am grateful.

Horrible but I am not giving up oh. It hasn't been reflected until this very moment and I hope the two days' interest that I ought to have been onboard would be added to my account once they finally do the right thing.

It's tiring tho but I remain strong.

Actually those are real phenomenal and not bond. Bond is apart of what fixed Income fund managers invest in generally but they also invest in short term money market like the bolded statement you quoted.

Google "Nigeria bank overnight rate" and then re-read my write up, it will make more sense to you.
