They know they are not Igbos.
Poverty is the weapon that is controlling them.
Is obvious they will not leave Ned Nwoko's house empty hand.
Millions must pass hand.
I know those gimmicks.
They are hungry and decided to follow their stomach.
Don't blame them.
Money can make people forget their root.
Emphasis on your first statement. They really know they aren't.

Why still wearing Benin attire?
Why not wear British winter cap and apoche used for upholstery works?
I guess you're jealous they don't have long claws running through their faces like they survived ancestral hunger and near misses from the paws of a hungry tiger.

Worry about you and your folks.

The joke is on you.. Then tell these men on the photos that they are not Igbo, you will collect wotowoto as well ..

If you consider them as one of your own, why did you neglect them for ages?, to the extent that Okowa had to grade a road for them few years ago..

Continue deceiving yourself
You are right if you say they were marginalized by the Edo State government for years.
They are not the only far community that was also marginalized by the corrupt Edo State government since 1999.

Oronigbe is also marginalized.
Okpella and Agenebode is also seriously marginalized.
But that does not mean Igbanke is an Igbo community.
Go to History, the founder of Igbanke and Oronigbe are from the ancient Benin Kingdom.

One question for you..

What is the language of Igbanke ?

I believe the answer to this question will put this argument to rest.

You mean as you are now, somebody will give you money to deny your tribe, knowing fully well that the consequences would be generational ?

Stop deceiving yourself.

Accept that they’re Igbos and move on ..
Oga are you in Nigeria at all?
When money comes, even the gods and goddesses do obey.
The ancestors cooperate .
There is nothing like consequences when billions is involve.
9ja for you.

Controlled by poverty.
Anywhere belle face ball face.
Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa and Former Governor of the Mid west Region Brigadier General Samuel Ogbemudia both of blessed memory are from Igbanke.
So what concerns Igbanke with the Anioma people.
By geography Igbanke is in Edo State.
Politicians using poverty as a weapon to control Kings.
Anioma no go see the light of day. Just as ogoja state came to pass. After the hole noise them go go rest.

LagosOrigin:
Igbo is the biggest and most successful tribe in Nigeria

The facts are there for all to see.

They tried to use politics to divide us because of our intimidating huge population but E no work.
.
then the IGR of the South East should surpass all other states of the federation, but that's not the case, I'm I missing something. Lagos is still miles ahead.

Their ancestor spoke Bini. But today their Bini have been corrupted.
Their names do still reflect the Bini ancestry. You see names like Nosa, Agho, Osahon, Idahosa, Ogbemudia, Idemudia etc
Those are rooted Bini names by ancestry.

With trade and business, the Igbos entered there and corrupted their language.

Till death, Bishop Benson Idahosa said he is a full Bini man. Is on video.

Benson idahosa was an orphan so you can't really tell which tribe in Edo state he was from. Brig Samuel Ogbemudia was igbo from igbanke. His name before the war was Chinedu Ogbemudia and was from Igbo-akiri community. Ogbemudia in igbo means my neighborhood is here to stay.

We have passed this level..

You don’t compare Anioma with Ogoja..

The point is not just about Anioma, the main focus is balancing the SE which is inevitable..
Ogoja didn’t get the level Anioma is right now now..

Igbos share a common boundary with Ibibio, and even Ogonis.. We did business with the aforementioned tribes for centuries..

How come we didn’t corrupt their original language despite their small numbers ?

I would advice you to focus on your Benini kingdom, and allow people to embrace their identity in peace. Thanks !

If you gather all the Igbos in different states in Nigeria, then I think Igbos are the largest indigenous tribe and might extra states to be created for them.
We have igbo in 13 states of the federation from South South to South East to Middle Belt

Extra state creation, in any part of the country, should not be contemplated for now.

What about Cross River Igbo, Always Ibom and Bayelsa Igbo ....
Haydens:
Benue Igbos, kogi Igbos, Rivers Igbos, Edo Igbos, delta Igbos plus the 5 states and they are telling me that Igbos are the minor tribe in Nigeria. Only God knows how they scattered Igbos in Nigeria but the truth shall come out one day.

You people celebrate every nonsense push to you. What has been the benefits of the current States you have to the teeming poor masses in Igboland. The politicians truly understand how to dribble you guys. Election is around the corner and all tricks must be deployed to maintain the status quo.
Igbophobia:
Nigeria thought that splitting Ndigbo into 13 different states would make marginal Igbo clans forget their root, especially those outside the Igbo heartland of 5 southeast states... They made a mistake. Igbo never forget their root,

Congrats to Igbanke people.

Some people from SW thought that mobilizing Nigeria's Igbo hate by terming January '66 coup Igbo coup would see to it that Igbo nation remain splintered but it has backfired. The very people they say are not Igbo are the very ones they accuse of leading an Ígbo coup.

Whenever they tell you there are no Igbo in SS, ask them why they call Nzeogwu coup an Igbo coup.

Ogonis and Ibibios are large in numbers. Corrupting them is not easy.
Igbanke ancient descendants are very few, just a farm settlement population.
I have been to Igbanke and know their heritage very well.
First go and do your fact check -
Who was the man who founded Igbanke and Oronigbe.
If they are not from the ancient Benin Kingdom, I will apologize to you.
I will try and get some Bini history and scan to you.

You are crying more than the bereaved. You have never been there, you can't even locate them on the map yet you believe you know them better than they know themselves. You need Andrew liversalt to stop this purging.

Stop being a busy body in other people's matter
