General hospitals(FMCs) suppose to be at every Local govt area of a state, right?

A sincere question.
Thank you.

How many of the PHCs use detty, smelly water because Tinubu has been stealing most of the trillions budget that should employ technicians, engineers, administrators, billing staff etc to make pipe borne water available to all buildings huh

Lagos however imperfect is the model for state and grassroot development in Nigeria.
And what is Nigeria in terms of development?

The capital of extreme poverty and out of school children?

Are most of the children in public schools, or they are in private schools because governors like Tinubu steal money for employing teachers and other staff to make education free for all children huh

Ratio of public to private schools in Lagos State is one to 22 ― Commissioner
September 4, 2022

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.

Yes, financed by Zenith bank, but it shouldn't take away the fact Lagos LGs are doing well when it comes to PHCs

There's one at Iyana-Ipaja, close to Government college, very standard building... Obasa PHC...

Let other states emulate same

You guys are truly truly sick. What's supposed to be a common facility in every local government in Lagos state considering the huge amount of taxes your gods place on lagosians on a daily basis, you make it look like the best to have ever happened after sliced bread. Shior!!

You're here comparing Lagos with Abia, are they on the same level financially?
😂😂cry cry baby, what stops you from having it in every local govt in 5plot enclave? Abi Lagos get 2 heads? With all una alleged taxes on how you have developed Lagos, same can’t be replicated in your neck of woods.
Re: Iduganran Primary Healthcare Centre In Isale Eko, Lagos. by Moneyyman: 3:54pm On Feb 03
This is goooood! And could be better!

I wish everyone hoks their local government chairman and governors to high standards so we can see this replicated in every PHC!

You see why you support APC? It’s because you are not properly educated and you lack understanding. Many Nigerians have papers from university but can’t use logic.
If you want me to “clear” react to this

Sincerely, Lagos is doing a lot in terms of primary health care. Despite access to Private Hospital, my wife had our first 2 babies in a general hospital and the service was top notch.

What We should have is Primary Health Care -Clinic As in the- Idu-Igan Above ,in Every Local Govt - to meet Immediate People's Needs.
•A General Hospital 🏥 is however ,Usually Placed in A Strategic Position Of Any Chosen Local Govt.
It covers a Broader- Health Care Facilities for every Citizens and where such healthy Needs Can not be met is referred to A Teaching Hospital, etc.
This is because General Hospital Involves higher Cost of Maintenance and Human Resources and all Manners of Health Management.

I'm not a Tinubu fanboy but my problem with most of us is the fact that we're being economical with the truth.

Tinubu is not the only governor since 1999 set and I take a wild guess that he wasn't at any point your governor as well.

If we all move at the pace (whoever slow) Lagos is moving in terms of grassroot governance and development, we would have since left the woodworks.

That we're still talking about Tinubu's governance of Lagos in 2026 leaves a big question about governance in general in this country.

What about Ibrahim Shekerau? Donald Duke? James Ibori? Orji Uzor Kalu? Achike Udenwa? Bukola Saraki? Peter Obi? Yerima of Zamfara?

If they had all been innovative (mind you, it wasn't about finance, it was mainly about innovativeness for Tinubu's Lagos), we for don get small headway.

See that building, Zenith financed it 70% with commitments of tax relief and other benefits.

This way, private sector participation is encouraged which drive down corruption drastically.

Let's tell ourselves whatever makes us sleep well at night but the truth remains the truth.

Stop talking as if other states dont have this too. In Oyo state wey no get Money reach Lagos also has General Hospital and every Ward has a PHC.

And this didnt start today. There is a reason why Doctor Beko ransome kuti was called the father of PHC. He was the one under the Babaginda administration that pushed the drive for States to have a PHC closest to the people and most States followed suit.

Stop talking as if na only Lagos has PHC. Oyo had Funticional PHC for that matter that attends to mother and child delivery. At least I'm sure of that

P.S. I think this new Lagos PHC was even built by Zenith Bank sef no be say na LASG do the building so why una dey shout
It costs nothing to be happy.

You should not continue to live miserably.

I am an original Lagosian and not an ayédèrú atọhunrinwa like Tinubu who has a mother with a different surname.

Tinubu and his successors are following his lootocracy TAX monster plan till now.

I don’t benchmark with other governors since 1999. I benchmark with the progressive governance achievements in the provision of services and utilities of Jakande in just four years, without squeezing IGR out of the public and without borrowing money like Tinubu is doing.

I will advise you to do likewise for your own state.

Realdeals:
Jakande @ 90: 9 Achievements of Alhaji Lateef Jakande as Lagos Governor

1. The first governor to present a billion Naira state budget in Nigeria.

2. He phased out the shift system in Lagos schools in three months. He built functional classrooms to absorb those who only attend schools for three hours a day.

3. He opened up what is now known as the Lekki Corridor.

4. He built the biggest Housing estate by a state government at Abesan, along with five other estates.

5. He built LASU, LACOED, LASPOTECH and Technical schools to absorb the products of the free education policy.

6 He built General Hospitals and Health centers in all the five divisions of Lagos. He also upgraded General Hospital Ikeja to the Medical arm of LASU.

7. He created the Agric hub at Oko Oba. He also created similar hubs in Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry.

8. His government’s strict adherence to the party manifesto of Free Education, Free Health care, Rural integration and Housing for all, along with other UPN governors, created the largest pool of human resources in Nigeria.

9. He moved the Lagos State Government Secretariat from PWD to Alausa, which he built from scratch. He also lived in his personal house and drove his personal car throughout his tenure.

Mine will be the now convicted James Ibori who still remains the BEST governor Delta state has ever produced.

So you see?

Let us judge our leaders by their improvement to their societies and human capital development.

Make we just stay with these two, everything go fall in place.

We do not have a "Perfect" democracy (assuming that there's ever a word like that in action) so let's keeping taking these baby steps until the next elections.

If the system is not "glitched", Nigerians will review the scorecard and make necessary moves for themselves.

But before that happens, let's support the President and be patriotic citizens as well.

If Nigeria works, we all get to enjoy it.

Do you know a Nigerian at birth now have over 200m customers at any choosen vocation?

That's our strength.

But if it will lead to blood she'd staying together, let's sit together and discuss it. This is a democracy.

In what ways is tẹwọnde Ibori better than UPN’s progressive governor Ambrose Ali, who served old Bendel state people for four years before Buhari locked him up for corruption after his only successful coup against democratic institutions at the local, state and federal levels huh

Was Tinubu being patriotic when he opposed PDP’s state of emergency in 2013 to fight terrorism?

Was the Lagos lootocracy TAX monster planner interested in making Nigeria work when he fraudulently sold his 2011 expired Buhari as APC change messiah four years later huh
