You just nailed it
Seeplusplus:
Come to think of it, how many Nigerians that are living in Nigeria, staying in nice apartments, driving a good car, and wearing good clothes that are not into fraud or illegal means of making money?

We are talking about a country where an average man on the street earns less than N80k a month.
Minimum wage is less than $50.

Go to Abuja and see the poor salary some people earn.

Forget all the noise about remote work. 8/10 times, it's all less. Except of course you're a content creator, you need to be so, so, good in order to land a dollar paying remote role because you'll be up against Indians, Asians and people from other European countries. Also, your nationality is already a barrier against you. So how many Nigerians are that good in their crafts?

One way or the other, the system is structured to enable crime/fraud, reason why the government doesn't frown at it except a life is involved.

Let's keep deceiving ourselves

Change which stupid circle. At 45 what do I need circle of useless friends for.
My first child is 20 and you're here talking about circles. I lived in a place surrounded by hostels. Some of them are students while some claims they're working.
Both the students and all are 90% Yahoo guys.
They don't even hide it. You need to hear them hailing themselves with nicknames such as "Yahoo pastor" Yahoo babalawo" and so many other names.
Guys you can't pinpoint what they're doing for a living but are riding expensive cars, lived in posh apartments, powered their generators every now and then.
Abegi, talk another jor. Circle kor, Triangle ni
Which is why I said change your circle. 45 puts you at 1981. I work with people that age who have been remote working in Nigeria since 2013. I’ve been remote working Covid. Change your circles from student neighbors to people tha actually do legit remote work. You’d be surprised what you don’t know.

That's why I put the ratio at 80-20. You been among the 20% doesn't still exonerate the 80%. Majority carries the vote you know

You said 80% of people working from home are fraudsters. If you had said 80% of people that claim to be working from home are fraudsters, I would have walked. But 80% of people working from home refers to people actually working from home and not those claiming to be working from home. Pedantic, I know, but it needed to be clarified. A lot of people claim to be working from home, of those who actually work from home, way more than 80% of them are legit

That's how they behave. After ripping, they will surround themselves with Police, DSS or Army as escort, so you can't be able to reach them again.

The woman who was scammed leaves something to be desired. If this guy said he needed foundations that needed a boost, why did she never follow up on his donations as someone in the space. Surely such a large donation from such a prominent individual would call for a dinner of some sort, or show up in their books. And if it were true, he wouldn't be interested in Romania.

They'll defraud people of their hard earned money, then come to oppress hardworking Nigerian youths.
Mrs Ikeji, whose Instagram username is ‘prettyfident’, uploaded a post thanking God for blessing her family with “another mansion in another city”.

“Forever grateful, Lord,” she captioned the post of the sprawling mansion on Instagram.

Exactly why religion is dangerous.

This is Nzube Henry Ikeji, the Abuja-based big boy who scammed a vulnerable Romania woman $2.5 million in a romance scam while posing as a Dubai prince with our own Obi Cubana.

Someone once told me that Obi Cubana and his boy, Cubana Chief Priest, are surrounded by yahoo boys, Aza men, pickers, Ponzi operators and drug barons.

They have them as allies, business partners and friends.

And according to the person, this explains Obi Cubana values and the kind of person he is

Ever since I had that conversation, I started paying attention, and the person is right.

Obi Cubana’s inner circle is filled with alleged yahoo boys and charlatans with questionable wealth.

This is why he did not see any big deal in pushing a guy who is doing a Keke Ponzi with his enormous social capital.

That is another reason why he did not see any big deal in attaching his social capital to pushing an insensitive government and a party that has made Nigerians poorer.

Everything for him is a hustle, as long as money is involved, he is in.

I wish him well, but his reputation and the kind of people he hangs around should amount to something or bother him if I were in his shoes.

By the way, see the thief with his crime lord and South East APC coordinator. Birds of the same feather always working together.

An account opened in 2016, 33 comments strong and last accessed in 2021. That man is not a member. He only breezed through here. He probably tried to set a scam before realizing that only poor people congregate here.
