Anyways your project doesn't look serious to me, the domain, the hosting (probably a free hosting), the project itself. You didnt try to add any reasonable feature, colour pallette nor a touch of uniqueness. Everything screams vibe code, a horrible vibe coding process.

I don't understand y'all. This isn't made for a replacement of any forum. It's more of a thought experiment. Plus If I wanted to replace or disrupt an online forum, it wouldn't be Nairaland, I'd aim for Reddit instead, a global platform. Nairaland is only popular amongst Africans and there really isn't any market for it here so

Thank you, literally. This is my fifth AI project I'm building. Literally had the idea on Friday and built it within the weekend. I don't understand why everyone here is insecure

If you wanted to disrupt, it's Reddit? Really? What would make me leave Nairaland for your so-called viewnet let alone reddit. Even Lemmy with a much bigger user base and fully open source codebase hasn't come close to "disrupting" Reddit

We'll, not disrupt, create a new market entirely but yeah I see your point. But the incumbents are ripe for disruption with AI anyways so I thought it was worth a shot. It was a thought experiment at the end of the day.

Take the harsh criticism, it's the best way to learn.

Google is your friend. What you are building is dead on arrival. Reddit killed all forums years ago, unless you have 500k in marketing budget, you won't even be able to solve the cold start problem in this era.

I'm not taking the criticism. I literally trained two people from the US on AI , based in silicon valley to be precise. They found me here on one of my post and reached out themselves.Or you want to compare silicon valley to Russia?You don't even know half of what I know in ai. Very dumb take. I've been coding before AI. Using dart for flutter and swift for iOS. That's why I'm sure there's nothing you've done that could amount to half of what I've built since I started coding.

And like I said, take your criticism elsewhere, it's not slop. Show me a product with AI at it's core you've built. You have nothing worthwhile to call another person whether he's a dev or not.

Not to discourage nor undermine your efforts, I know you probably put a lot into this project but NGL, I also think it's useless if you are positioning it as another forum. Maybe as a business forum for a small niche might work. Just my 2cents.🫰
