Not sure why y'all are worried about someone that has zero contribution to a thread on it 13th page. I took my time to check his profile and the first post was about a WhatsApp group. I don't know why some people feel like owing a WhatsApp group is a big deal. I belong to two WhatsApp groups but still come here to drop info and get info because I understand the need to keep a running thread for future generations. Long and short is, Airsaylongcome please ignore. We need those relevant information at the assessment centre stage. Thank you! |

NiyiAden:Here. That’s directly from “quoting” Nour92’s original post. It’s a screenshot so you’d have to type it out

Trojan8:It’s not really about whether folks get on WhatsApp groups. That is always going to happen. It’s about publicly posting the link to the group to funnel people there. That is going to accomplish two things: channel more people off thread, and compromise people silly enough to join, which is what my “low IQ” comment was more about. Not necessarily an attack on the actual IQ of whoever posted it. Edit: I just looked at their post history. Of their 15 posts, 7 are about funneling people to WhatsApp groups. Your statement “I don't know why some people feel like owing a WhatsApp group is a big deal.” suddenly makes a lot of sense |

If you join a private whatsapp group and get scammed, please don't come back here to cry....in my time Nairaland was all we had and it served a good purpose. |

airsaylongcome:This thing this person said is so true, I’ve been in groups and once question should leak, even when I know nothing about it I get disqualified. Also so many times I notice the HR too will be present watching and noticing. So many times I’ve noticed that. Not to say you shouldn’t join or create groups, just saying be careful. Please who has any idea what the second level assessment will be about. I’ve been studying numerical questions though |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Nour92: 10:04am On Feb 05 |
Nimora:I’m saying this just to clear the air, not because I owe anyone an explanation. We created the WhatsApp group with positive intentions, to support each other, not to cheat in exams, leak questions, run scams, or divert people from Nairaland or anywhere else. A person can actively participate here and still be part of the group; the two aren’t mutually exclusive. Some members also share tutorial videos and other useful visual content, which isn’t even possible here due to the lack of that feature. You’re free to think whatever you want, but a negative mindset makes people assume everyone else is the same. |

Really wish this second level was the interview/assessment stage, so we know the next email is acceptance/rejection and ofcourse medicals will come first if acceptance. But while going through previous recruitment threads on nairaland, second level is usually assesment/interview I wonder what changed. |

| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Edith1900: 3:43pm On Feb 09 |
I just checked (by clicking on the start now button in the email sent by Shl, you'll be mandated to install the lock down browser, answer a few pop questions and then you'll see your task.) and there are 3 tasks. 1. Job focused assessment - 20 mins 2. Numerical Reasoning - 18 mins 3. Inductive Reasoning - 23 mins Total time - 61 minutes The Shl Numerical Reasoning being 18 minutes means it's the interactive version and the Inductive reasoning being 23 minutes means it's the standard multiple choice version. I don't know what the job focused assessment is about. May God crown all our efforts with success. |

| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by LadyLaura019: 9:34pm On Feb 09 |
Please what's the difference, between the interactive and non interactive? |
| Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by elmessi(m): 9:58pm On Feb 09 |
For non-interactive it's the conventional multiple choice questions (with options A, B, C, D, etc). But with the interactive there are no options. You're the one to construct the answers yourself. For instance if it is a graphical solution, you'll have to move the graph slider to the correct points corresponding to your answer. LadyLaura019: |
