The reforms have achieved its objectives so far: more than a million Nigerians had died from wants and diseases since Tinubu's reforms started.
Till today, Nigeria's public hospital doctors are not working. More deaths envisaged.
Do black lives matter?

Eyeah...but when it waa declared by the same people that we are the poverty capital of the world,it was meant to please whohuh

YOU AND PETER OBI I GUESS..

YOU PEOPLE ARE THE ENEMIES OF THIS COUNTRY
Can there be a worse enemy of our country than your Jagaban of Borgu that made his fellow northerner Buhari president, four years after calling him expired huh

What has changed since 2015 for better in Nigeria?

So..mention which of the reforms will be reversed by peter OBI?
My comment was about policy outcomes, not any politician. If a reform makes life worse without improvement, it’s simply bad policy regardless of who implements or reverses it. Not every discussion has to be political.

Reform in the midst of killing and kidnapping?

We have no interest in kidnapping, killing, GMO, cashless, digital currency, digital identity, police harassment etc.

You can't be talking of reform in the midst of these evil agenda against our people, especially those living in the rural areas.
Reforms are not meant to be appreciated by evil-minded clowns wired never to see anything good about Nigeria.

All the issues you stated have survived many govts, the military inclusive yet you expect a constitutional govt to solve them all in less than 3 years in the saddle.

Considering the fire straits Buhari left the country, it is nothing short of miracle what Tinubu's govt have been able to achieve.

The message is not meant for the clownish and economic neophytes.

Those are the bodies in charge of world economy. They have both skills and knowledge to focast and measure. I know that you believe Peter Obi a third class in philosophy than IMF and world bank.
You are playing politics with the lives of your kids and kinsmen who no longer afford one meal a day, have no access to treated running water and cannot afford hospital treatment since Bola Tinubu started with his ill-advised and anti people political reforms in 2023.

Peter Obi trounced Bola Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election until the election umpire truncated the 2022 Electoral Act and used obnoxious methods to award victory to Tinubu..

Peter Obi shall trounce Tinubu again in a free and fair election.

Very cheap propaganda as usual.

Does this man look like someone that can ever make relatively good policies undecided
Only clowns and educated illiterates judge a book by its cover.
Why ?

Unfortunately, the opposition and their supporters might have sworn to something not to see the development of Nigeria. Imagine how their supporters have been sounding on this thread without paying attention to how their talk is just disgusting. Hating on positive news

Why is it only the good news that requires questioning? Verification but when it's bad news , those should be ready to swallow instantly without any logical rethink.

To be a witch, just join the opposition we have in Nigeria. They don't celebrate good news
They are irritatingly irritative.

It is not an expert on Nigeria's economic affairs.
.
You are right, World Bank is not an expert on NI’s economic affairs, but a 3rd Class Philosophy graduate called Peter Obi is an expert on economic affairs. Just watch your BP

Beggars have never been in short supply in Nigeria since independence.

Just recently, Peter Obi said that northern Nigeria is full of beggars.

Why won’t they call it Reference point because he implemented fiscal measure that further impoverished Nigerians to meet IMF useless targets

Devaluing the Naira to appease his IMF masters will always attract these cheap praises at the detriment of the masses.

As useless as Buhari was, he rejected these IMF push to impoverish Nigerians.
You forgot to put on your thinking cap before typing, or perhaps, you have none.

Whatever is of global reference point is something envious and worthy to emulate.

Many govts in the past have implemented IMF reforms yet have never been praised by the same body.

Tinubu did not swallow IMF bait hook, line and sinker but as a seasoned financial expert,, devices his own home-grown reforms which are now yielding positive dividends.

At the onset, I recollected that this same body - World Bank - criticized this govt's reforms but are objective enough to acknowledge it's results.

Wale Edun has moved around Nigeria and says that things are worse where they matter- on the economic front.

Do you know better than him huh

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

Any reform that quickly make life harder and the result is not making life easier either, is not a reform but miscalculated policy.

Worldbank official? The desperation and quest to always seek validation from Worldbank and IMF would have been funny if it wasn't so pathetic. "Confessions of an Economic Hitman."
Go and check the votes. Even for social media, una dey lose. God keep us all beyond 2027, Peter Obi's loss will be the talk of the world. Let him run 1000 times, obi can never become President of Nigeria.

He used to be President of social media but save this message, he will not get up to million votes in 2027 presidential elections.

The floating of the Naira was a very bold and radical step and he went it alone with any balance of payment support from the IMF was truly phenomenal

Even Milei in Argentina is yet to make that move. That was why he ran to the US for support.
That is why the Argentina economy is tanking and the same obedients there are stoning him now.

I don laugh tire. If World bank and IMF dey praise u, u are finished o. Those guys have and hold Tinubu well. I am sensing they may help him hold on to power. U see world bank and IMF, they are weapon fashioned agaisnt developing countries.
They encourage policies they ensure ur people remain poor for life.
There is no magic to sustainable society than being productive and fight corruption. All these rubbish talks are just the fact that Tinubu and Frnace are in good relationship, only god knows the deal he has with them. Same type of deals they have with many useless african countries.
Fight corruption to the end, ensure ur public institutions does not treat anyone abobe anyone.
Cut down on the cost of governance
invest massively in education to produce graduates who actually go into scienece to produce local finished products that we can use and export. Like, can we start making chipsets, engines, electricity transformers, smart tv, etc. Once u do that, ur currency will strengthen and u can start growing. Tinubu was reported to have spent 34b on foreign trips alone in two years. Na waste of money o. But most of Nigerians are poor. Yet world bank is prasing him. Once u dey world bank and IMF good books, omo, forget it, u are gone.
