Kindly State clearly that, Presiding Officers of the Independent National Electoral Commission should transmit results electronically from each polling unit to the INEC Result Viewing (IREV) portal in real time, before signing and stamping the prescribed result forms.

Yes true, the opposition must apply pressure locally and internationally for free and fair elections like it happened in Jonathan's time or else they will think they can get away with murder.

What was the point of the electoral amendment if it wast to make electronic transmission mandatory.
That was the most important clause in this 2025 amendment, so that INEC will not say it's their prerogative or that it is optional.
Now u rejected that clause and maintained what was their abinito, while trying to mince words for us. If that wasn't done then we have to look at every other thing u have actually amended, because it's obvious I guys will only do the things that favour u alone and not in the Interest of the country.

Electrinic transmission has never been compulsory. INEC must determine which mode of results ransmission it wanted to adopt. As far as the electoral law is concerned, manual coalition is a vital component of our election. Therefore, the options are open to INEC to determine its conducts during election.

The Apex Court has always held that non-electronic transmission of results doesn't invalidate the process. The Court has held that by virtue of Sections 52 & 65 that allow for manual transmission of results, INEC can uphold any of the above.

This new proposal was advocating a mandatory electronic transmission which was shot down to retain that which was in the EA 2022.

We don't want retention of the former, which the courts could not work with. We want them to make it mandatory in a way that the courts can adjudicate with. These politicians are so self centered. Instead of making laws for the good of the nation, they make laws for personal benefits. How can a nation move forward with that?
