We need Chief Stanley Nwabali in Man U. He will do well there.
Re: Stanley Nwabali Leaves Chippa United, Silent On Next Move by otipoju(m): 10:52am On Feb 05
I am happy for him. To be the national team goalkeeper in a country whose citizens hate your country with a passion is not good for his mental health.

He needs to detox his psyche from a toxic environment and go make some good money. He is not getting any younger and has the skills to command a decent wage.

Even if 1 million per year. E better pass the peanuts je gets in SA currently.

Turkey or Greece are the likely destinations

I think European transfer window has closed, so I'm not looking in that direction. He's probably heading for Middle East
Re: Stanley Nwabali Leaves Chippa United, Silent On Next Move by wunmi590(m):
huh

This guys agent is not trying at all, he should have gotten another club for him in Europe all these while, he needs to work on another agent, we have goal keepers who are even worst and are playing in a better club in Europe, except may be he doesn't want to be a second keeper in another team...

I wish him success

At around 30 years of age, he needs the saudi oil money more than some european validation. Those in Europe were beaten to the No 1 jersey so what will he be proving by heading to Europe?

He’s a free agent now and not restricted by transfer windows. They can sign for any club any time. Transfer windows are only meant for club to club transfers.

No matter the humiliation, Igbo man no go leave a place wey him dey get money. He’s probably gotten a better offer from another club as it’s evident that he left voluntarily and he wasn’t fired

A free agent can move at any time since he isn't tied to a contract. But I agree with you, he may be heading east.

Yet the so called toxic country fed and nourished his career for years before we even thought he was good enough to play as our national goalkeeper. Why didn't we develop him ? We waited for them to develop him for us ,now we are spitting at them and you think they will have any regard or respect for people like that?

He was fed by the "HIV positive and hateful" people for close to a decade when we left his career to rot in Naija. Don't jinx this man's career with your bitterness

Thank you Chippa United and South Africa for giving this man the exposure and platform to showcase his talent.
