Please Doctors in the house, please I need your urgent help at the moment. My less than 3yrs old baby girl returned back from school yesterday with her pant stained with dried blood. My wife couldn't figure out anything inner her till today evening. When I returned back from work, she called my attention to it and behold there's blood clots in her vagina. We quickly rushed her to the hospital. The Doctor asked us if there's any pain. Since that yesterday till now my daughter has been playing and jumping. No single pain. Since my wife noticed that yesterday, my baby wasn't feeling any pains at all, she plays and jumps very well. Doctor said there could be possible molestation but it supposed to come with pain. He advised we take her to LASUTH tomorrow morning for professional to confirm if she was molested or another thing. So by tomorrow morning, me and my wife will be heading to LASUTH.

I just want to confirm if anyone has ever came across this kind of issue where a baby less than 3yrs will be having bleeding through her vagina without single pain or other symptoms like fever or headaches. Is not that the baby is quiet or dull, since that yesterday till now, she has been jumping and playing around, even when the doctor was touching her vagina sides, she didn't cry or feel any pains. This night when her mother was bathing her, no signs of pain around her private part, no bruises just the bleeding.

A doctor should be able to know if she was molested.. he could just palpate her.. why need transfer the child .

Op should ask his kid.. since the child is still playful, children tend to talk or give hints if such happen to them.

Since she’s playing very well, it might be something else, but in all take her for proper examine.

Go and do proper checkup. If there's case of molestation call me. Let me make life hell for the school and whoever Is involved, they will beg to kpai

Yeah. I have come across this kind of situation also. And just like you said she also came from school buh her's was accompanied with pain. We rushed to the Government hospital to check her but the doctor confirmed that she wasn't molested. Her class mates later revealed that she fell down from the slide that same day that her parents noticed the blood

na wa o i fear for kids this days the world is jus evil, but i can assure you she may have injured herself while playing or sitting on a sharp object. but fingers cross till when you visit the hospital

They recommended you take her to LASUTH, but you want to hear from from NLUTH first.

She was molested and the person cleaned her up, it may not be of yesterday the remaining blood is just dropping.
Check her virginity if possible.
This act is possible in school or by someone close to you.

Dont take these things for granted. someone penetrated my sister when she was not up to four years continued sleeping with her codedly. passed unnoticed until luck ran out of him one day before the minor fifth birthday.

Less than 3 years old should not be in a school but be placed in a play group under supervision of professional childcare professionals. This kind of service don't come cheap though.

I suspect trauma but the cause needs to be investigated. The child could have been administered a painkiller without your knowledge.

Though her feedback is not particularly reliable due to her very young age but you can ask if she was given anything to drink , eat or injected. If you have traces of the food or drinks and their containers, you can keep them for forensic analysis.

Ask the girl, if anyone fingered her in her vagina. These is one of the things doctors would ask on visiting a hospital.

It could be a benign variant of normal called "Prepubertal vaginal bleeding". It is necessary to rule out other diagnosis by a workup with a paediatric doctor to arrive at this diagnosis

For your peace of mind and for clarity, the first and most important step is to take your child to the hospital for a proper medical examination.

We once had a female child with a similar issue in my mother’s school. It was a very serious and distressing situation. We considered many possibilities, and the worry surrounding it affected everyone deeply, so much so that it even took a toll on my mother’s health while we awaited and especially days after.

After a thorough examination, it was discovered that the child had not been molested. The bleeding was caused by rough play, which led to a rupture or injury in that area.

Because of this experience, I strongly advise that you take your child for a medical examination as soon as possible. This will help determine the exact cause; whether it is something natural or the result of foul play, so you are not left guessing or overwhelmed by fear.

I sincerely pray that, in your case, it is not foul play.
