Good but more importantly there should be a unified opposition and this will require compromises. |

Why the protest? |
| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by FSBoperator: 9:52am On Feb 06 |
Emeskhalifa:There are tens of thousands of polling units scattered in rural areas across the country where there is no internet access or GSM network. If you make it mandatory that only results uploaded directly to the irev servers remotely should be accepted, then you will end up disenfranchising millions. If you insist on having remote uploads to the server then you will need to fund INEC to purchase tens of thousands of Starlink terminals. |

| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by spiSeyi: 9:55am On Feb 06 |
If PO and Atiku didn't join this protest then they aren't serious about next year elections and it's an indication that they are all in the same ship with PBAT. |

FSBoperator:Aren't they budgeting billions for these elections? If not coz of corruption, what's starlink devices that you think they won't be able to afford? Like I said, na dem no d ulterior motive wey dem get, wey make dem reject am |
| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by FSBoperator: 10:00am On Feb 06 |
spiSeyi:Foolishness will be their name if they join. Do you know that there are tens of thousands of communities in Nigeria were there is no GSM network or available internet? These communities host several Polling Units. If you insist that only results uploaded remotely to the iREV server be accepted then you will automatically see to millions in these affected areas automatically disenfranchised and their votes annulled. Sense no dey obidients head at all. |

| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by Tammy2705: 10:02am On Feb 06 |
why cant we after 8 elections why cant we transfer elections electronically for quick result announcement and credibility, it will always be compared with the written ones from polling stations. |

FSBoperator:You can't deceive the millions of Nigerians by coming up with that watery excuse. I can't even imagine the lame excuse |

Every Nigerian not just them . How can the only problem identified in 2023 as fraud .be allowed again in 2027. Why not save resources for election let Tinubu continue. Why waste election budget. APC and friends wants the Fraud of real time transmission not fixed . How ? It's better no election. Tinubu is not bad abeg . Let the INEC electoral budget money be used on other budget |

Emeskhalifa:oya now Go and transmit in a region with no network. You think we have 100 perecent GSM/Internet connection? Even in the US they dont have total GSM coverage |

| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by spiSeyi: 10:09am On Feb 06 |
FSBoperator:I want to believe that you lack exposure on the Internet penetration in Nigeria, what happens to the use of satellite network like starlink that's created for remote areas with no Internet penetration, the election results from each ward is not even up to 10 MB which can easily be transmitted by 3G network which is even available in over 70% of Nigeria as we speak. If PO and Atiku failed to join the protest they have already lose the next year elections which will eventually send them to political oblivion. |
| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by FSBoperator: 10:11am On Feb 06 |
spiSeyi:Starlink nah beans? Do you know how much a unit cost and the annual rates are? |
| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by Cj4charles(m): 10:11am On Feb 06 |
Not even Obidient, Nigerians need to protest against this impunity.. you made everything digital from BVN to NIN, but wants the elections to remain analog |
| Re: Obidients Plan Protest At National Assembly by spiSeyi: 10:12am On Feb 06 |
joseph1832:If PO and Atiku should join it might be stronger than Endsars protest, this is their subtle opportunity to unsit APC just like how APC used the GEJ subsidy removal as an edge. I will see ADC as an unserious party should they failed to be at the forefront of this protest |
