I really don’t see it, I rate his attacking outputs rather, his just too erratic as you’ve said, for a skipper he throws his team under the bus a lot with a red or playing on the edge with a yellow

He needs a very experienced coach to help him manage his lack of discipline and erratic decision making. As for defending? I don’t think he is overrated. You have no idea how tough this is for me.
