Unfortunately that's just the only real permanent solution otherwise nigeria will forever continue to be a burial ground for Christians and non radical muslims even the white man can never accept this type of unworkable and chaotic union. |

BrickandLace:This is Nigeria, not Sudan. Once the time is right, the country will split peacefully and terrorists will rest. |

YOU CAN'T DIVIDE NIGERIA AGAIN, NOT POSSIBLE, BUT THE PRESENT GOVERNMENT MUST CONSOLIDATE ON THE 36 CONSTITUTIONAL STATES. OUR MILITARY PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SUPPORT THIS AND WILL DEFEND IT ANYTIME. |

The jihadist wants Nigeria to be one, so that they can capture her as a whole, a full package. One Nigeria supporters i hope you are ready to live with this. America was not able to stop them in Afghanistan. Dividing Nigeria will make it easier to stop them. |

BrickandLace:There will be no sympathetic Nigerian security forces to save the insurgents. Insurgency is flourishing because some people in the section of the country are sympathetic to their cause. Any offshoot of the southern Nigeria can take on the terrorists without sweat. |

God bless you Riley Moore- of USA. We Christians will Continue to brief you and President Trump on the situation in Nigeria. •Those perpetuating evil - Terrorism, Kidnapping for Ransome, Bandits as the North Called them- are all Over Nigeria, but are more in the North. •Those who think they can invade Communities through AK47,etc,will surely not go far,as their Footsoldiers Are Arrested,in the Towns and Villages, through Sponsorship, etc. •Nigeria Will Never Becomes An Islamic Republic- NEVER. The earlier the better we know this! |

PHIPEX:You're not making sense. You're not more Christian than the Yorubas, yes. The most prominent Christians in Nigeria are not from your side and I don't understand how persecution of northern Christians has anything to do with igbos. |

He was probably pushed by the $9 million lobbyists to make the statement but the man was careful with his words. Just because dividing Nigeria wasn't on the table doesn't mean it's off the table. Diplomats in Normal Countries are smart and professional. |

Moderator101: CyynthiaKiss: CyynthiaKiss:Let's set the record straight: Riley Moore is a U.S. Representative, not a Senator. He has been serving West Virginia's 2nd congressional district since January 2025. He made it clear when he said, "Efforts to embolden separatists hurt Christians in Nigeria—especially in the North and Middle Belt," and "A destabilized Nigeria would embolden terrorists and make Christians less safe in Nigeria and across the continent." However, he conveniently overlooks that Christians and Muslims are already facing violence under the current system he defends. So, when does the death toll from the status quo outweigh his concerns about future threats? Moore's statement likely serves multiple purposes: 1. Supporting U.S. strategic interests in a unified Nigeria 2. Backing certain factions within Nigerian politics 3. Promoting evangelical influence 4. Opposing any changes that could upset existing power structures or American access The core issues? Claiming to represent what Nigerians want while dismissing genuine self-determination movements. Insisting that discussions about division aren't serious when they clearly are. Is Nigeria so unclear that we need Americans to define our existence? What fires are we stoking here? Isn't it ironic that the same Western powers whose colonial borders created Nigeria's ethnic divisions now want to tell us those borders are sacred and unchangeable. How convenient, isn't it? |

Good one. A united and working Nigeria is POssible. My concern is that the issue came up at all, though unseriously. Let's read between lines. |

DoWhatThouWilt:dieing christ sake us not same as being killed i dont know where its is stated that you should let your self to be killed because you areva chistian and you dont understand the bible because dieing for christ is not same as to fold your hands so that some dirty pigs will kill. So much was said in that short speech. In that speech alone, I could see that separation was an idea but never gave deep thoughts. I could also deduce that the separation was idly talked about and infact, the map or rather the division points was highlighted but wasn't official. I could also deduced that the only factor been considered for not supporting the separation now is because of Christians in a part of the region. It was highlighted that they would suffer greatly if the support goes on and also emboldened the other religion that kills at will. "A destabilized Nigeria would embolden terrorists and make Christians less safe in Nigeria and across the continent." CyynthiaKiss: |

PHIPEX:Of course they all know that the face of Nigerian Christians = Igbos! Igbo people are the face of Nigerian Christians and the pillar of Christianity in Nigeria and that is why Northern Muslims and most Yorubas despise Igbos but other Nigerian Christians that are not Igbos think the disdain for Igbos by Northerners and Yorubas is all about Igbos, they don't know that it is all about Christianity which Igbos are the pillar in Nigeria, they should continue to connive with Christian persecutors thinking they are doing Igbos, it will soon down on them that its all about them; Christians and not just Igbos ![]() |
| Re: No Plans To Divide Nigeria - Riley Moore by wallrichy: 4:58pm On Feb 07 |
Bro, nobody or country will come to Nigeria and separate us just like using knife to separate rope. Nigerians will do it themselves when they get to the threshold. We would also have options of how to go about it when we are fully ready, remember, terrible situation brings about never thoughts about solutions. Right now, we ain't ready. By the time we are ready, nobody will tell you and me......that's the fact........ honesttalk21: |
| Re: No Plans To Divide Nigeria - Riley Moore by franchasng: 4:59pm On Feb 07 |
wallrichy:You are very wise. What the US Senator representing Trump in Nigerian Christian persecution affairs is talking about is that there were talks about dividing Nigeria but it was not serious and that the main reason United States is not considering dividing Nigeria now is because if Nigeria is divided, that Christians in Middlebelt and other parts of the North will suffer great persecution because the Christians in the Southern Nigeria, mostly Igbos are the ones helping to take the bullet for the Northern Christians, and removing Igbos from Nigeria will embolden Muslim extremists to persecute Middlebelt Christians the more, so because of this, US is not considering the division of Nigeria more seriously. Those that love one Nigeria should continue to push Igbos to the edge......they will get what they are looking for sooner than later, just a matter of time, we will know who the leeches are in Nigeria, soon, if they refuse to allow equity, justice, fairness and peace reign in Nigeria |
